BASIC RULES

• You can only use the bio you posted in your application or an update that dates from before the start of the tournament.
• By default, the basic universal battle rules will be applied.
• You may use any Customs and skills your bio is permitted to use, including those learned.
• All players start mid-range from each other ( 10 meters ) in a plain field with a 50m radius with a river encircling it.
• A battle lasts max 6 days with a 2 day reply limit. If 2 replies are not made on each side, then the fight will either be voided or extended or the Mod in charge of the Tournament will make a decision on who progresses.
• The person who is listed first in the match-up in this thread will always start the battle. Fights are to be titled as such: [GRPT] - Member A vs Member B. Fights are to start June 8th, 2022 at 12:00pm GMT -5, or just over 2 hours from now.
• The fights are held in the Tournaments and Events section. Failure to abide by any of these rules is grounds for elimination.

Description: Journey of the Swordless is a technique which is always active for those who practice the art of Kyotoryu. Being active from the very beginning of battle, Journey of the Swordless is classified as a passive technique to all those who wish to utilize it. While most Kyotoryu techniques do not require this, Journey of the Swordless is meant to enhance the users Kyotoryu techniques to their maximum, by sacrificing a real sword in the process.

To start, the user coats their entire body in a tiny, razor sharp layer of chakra, which looks very similar to the Medical Scalpel technique, to activate this technique. Once active, the user become a human blade, as all their strikes carry the same cutting potential as any regular sword, by being enhanced by their razor sharp chakra. Another benefit to this technique, is that the razor sharp chakra around the users body allows them to bypass wind resistances, allowing their strikes to also be much faster than when performing techniques with an actual sword. Another benefit of this, is that due to the wind resistance being removed from their strikes, while also gaining speed, all the users kenjutsu gain additional damage, by having any wind resistance removed, the strikes carry more weight, striking much harder and with more maneuverability than one could perform with a regular sword. However, the damage bonus is further increased when utilized with Kyotoryu techniques, as these techniques are specifically created for the fight style, adding Journey of the Swordless on top further empowers them, allowing the unique movements of Kyotoryu fighting style to be even more deadly than usual.

However, while this technique seems strong, the largest drawback is the user loses their ability to hold a sword. The chakra around the users body will destroy any sword hilt it comes into contact with. Even with indestructible blades, the hilt of the sword will be rejected, forcefully pushed out of the users hand if he tried to wield a bladed weapon. This is only the case for swords however, other objects, like Staffs, can be wielded, but any techniques requiring a Staff will Not gain any benefits from this technique.


Restrictions:

Must be posted in the users bio if they wish have it passive from the start of battle. Chakra cost can be paid to activate it during battle.Once activated, the users Arms, Legs, Head, and even torso become a replacement for any Technique that requires a sword. Due to the nature of the chakra, the user cannot wear any armor, nor can the user wield a sword of any description. However the user is able to wield non bladed weapons, but those weapons will gain no bonus' from this technique. Any jutsu the user users, such as Earth Armor, will have its defenses Reduced by -20 if used over top of this technique. However, this only applies to techniques that attach to the users body, techniques such as Susanoo, will be unaffected. This technique can be used by Samurai, following all the same restrictions as regular uses. However, as the user cannot wear armor with this technique active, it cannot be used with Bushido, however SSS and Iaido can be used in conjunction

As the arena was once again set, the participants arrived into the designated area. Bystanders who watched in awe as the second round of matches couldn’t tell who would win. There was obvious favored picks, Mirabelle being among them herself - but of all the people she didn’t wish to encounter would be allies or even friends. Of them, it was a recently made ally named Musashi. A beautiful woman who weaved the battlefields with her dual blades. Mirabelle was impressed by her degree and control of her blades, so much so that she employed use of the blade at one point in time. Now? She wanted to see what it was capable of in their master’s hands. A small yet audible sigh managed to escape Mirabelle’s breath. “Musashi…it was only like yesterday we began to wonder the mystical lands of the Outer Lands…and now here we are, blades honed and readied for one another…it’s honestly saddening” Mirabelle was sincere in her words.

However, this was a possible eventuality that she hoped would never come to be. Having to get serious with someone like Musashi. As she breathed in and out, Mirabelle would look her friend in the eyes and with a slight smile; she began the battle. “Please…no hard feelings, ok?” she said as the final hand seal was made. As she finished, immediately Musashi’s mind would be plunged into a spiral of internal ravaging. The sheer burning sensation, as her mouth was stitched closed, her eyes gauged out. The removal of her legs, arms and even her ears. She wasn’t capable of moving or utilizing any of these limbs in reality, but worse of all…her heart and lungs left her very being, as the very woman who casted the mental spell was. Heartless…

Mirabelle rewrote the chakra nature of her genjutsu, shifting it from raw chakra into that of Blue Fire Release. The additional infusion allowed those areas affected would feel as though a critical burning sensation was currently at those points of interest. Musashi was disconnected to those limbs in reality, leaving her unable to ‘breath’, as she starts to hyperventilate in reality as a result, grasping and screaming for air. Her arms, legs nor her mouth or ears responded to her desires. Mirabelle would have also made the method of surges unavailable in terms of genjutsu breaking.


(Genjutsu: Mahou no Kei Chikin ) Illusion Technique: The Voodoo of the Headless Chicken

Description: Requires 5 handseals. This jutsu acts as the opposite of False Surrounding (Kokohin). Instead of manipulating the opponent's perception of his/her surroundings, it changes the perception of his/her body by removing or adding organs/objects. This allows the user to remove limbs/organs, to prevent certain actions to be taken, such as ripping one's eyes to make the opponent blind, removing one's lungs to make the user pass out from lack of air, removing one's legs to prevent the target from running etc, or add certain objects/organs, such as blades to one's stomach, or adding stitches to one's mouth, silencing them.

*Can only be used 3 times per battle*

*Opponent needs to find a way to counter or release the genjutsu in his countering turn when the illusion pertains to "removal" of organs or he'll lose conscience from the pain and mental strain
(Inton: Gogyou Gen) – Yin Release: Five Elements Illusion

Description: This technique allows the user to combine their elemental chakra with Yin Release in order to create stronger, more potent Genjutsu. When the user casts a Genjutsu, rather than using their raw chakra they will use one of the basic elemental natures, thus increasing the potency of the jutsu. This technique increases the technique it is applied to by one rank in strength; due to the massive infusion of chakra a Genjutsu empowered by the Five Elements Illusion can penetrate through any passive defense or subversive method against Genjutsu. By using nature chakra rather than raw chakra, the properties of the Genjutsu can change in accordance to that nature and become stronger. For example, using Crushing Snake Constriction with Fire Release chakra would make the snakes appear, feel, and sound as though they were on fire. The user is free to alter the effects of a Genjutsu within reason as long as the primary effects remain the same. Like other Yin-Yang infusions, this technique only increases the chakra within the technique by an additional rank in strength, or 10, whichever is higher.

Note: Can only be used 6 times per battle.
Note: Cannot be used on techniques above S-Rank.
Note: Yin Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users can use advanced elements and CE.

Once this was finished, Mirabelle drew on the chakra of the Nibi - as she quickly allowed the crimson red chakra to initially spiral around her body, and then wrapping tightly onto it as she entered her Version 2 State. “At least you don’t get to witness the monster within…” she said, as she dashed quickly as she attempted to close the distance between herself and Musashi. Mirabelle’s use of her Yin Technique allowed a Void Infusion to Occur as Well, as she also passively activates her other one as well.

Entering Version 2 creates a great deal of energy, producing craters beneath the user and destroying any restraints that might have been placed upon them beforehand while pushing other users back to mid range. The user becomes capable of reducing up to 40 damage per attack and can ignore the drawbacks of the Health System while in this form.
Note: This form only lasts a maximum of 10 turns.
Note: Can only be used twice, after each usage the user cannot activate it for at least 6 turns. Should it end, the user is left unable to use any Bijuu jutsu above A rank for two turns.

Forged with the purest of materials in serenity by swordsmith who had achieved Zen, Yawkarakai-Te is flushed with natural energy, augmenting natural energy, and Dokkōdō techniques for those who can use them.

(Shizukesa) Tranquility - Yawarakai-Te is heavily attuned to natural energies, and passively draws natural energy into itself. While not to the level of those who practice Senjutsu, this offers a powerful effect to the blade: Kenjutsu and related field techniques can become imbued with these energies when performed by the wielder of Yawarakai-Te, allowing them to be treated as Dokkodo techniques for the purposes of effects that affect or modify Dokkodo techniques, by adding 10 chakra to the cost of the technique to do so. However, this chakra does not enhance the technique in question beyond simply allowing it to be utilized as a Dokkodo technique.

Note: Yawarakai-Te's abilities that affect Dokkodo techniques only function if its wielder is capable of using said field and wielding the blade.

However, this chakra does not enhance the technique in question beyond simply allowing it to be utilized as a Spiritual Kenjutsu technique.

Musashi breathed a deep sigh, coming off the tail end of her previous battle. It had been a trying experience, as she had tested some new techniques of her own design - to much better effect than she had hoped. However, as the tournament had progressed, Musashi felt very much that she was the dark horse in the race. Reminiscent of her original venture into the Dark Tower, it seemed the combatants here wielded power only just barely within the realm of comprehension. Musashi felt her victory over the last combatant was more luck than skill.

It seemed her opponent this time was to be Mirabelle, the young woman with a beast dwelling within her, whom Musashi had met in the mystical continent. Because of this, though, Musashi had an inkling of how powerful Mirabelle was, and knew that to hold back would cause a swift defeat. It would also be an insult to her opponent, in a setting like this, and so she would do no such thing. Exhaling, Musashi's martial prowess would be apparent, even from the range between the two combatants, and Musashi's oppressive aura would put itself upon Mirabelle, slowing her down (-1 Base Speed via Advanced Speed Resistance).

When Mirabelle began weaving handseals, Musashi would immediately take up a stance, preparing for battle - she was too far away to employ Iaido, so that tactic would have to go for now. When Mirabelle finished her handseals, giving her ask of forgiveness, the effect of what she desired would manifest. Musashi was plunged into a hellscape, body wracked with immense pain, the feeling of blood trying to pound its way out of her body, and an inescapable blackness surrounding her, her body locked in place....but Musashi could recognize it for the illusion that it was. Firstly, the effect happened instantly after Mirabelle's handseals completed - an easy enough deduction. Secondly, the sheer totality of the effect: no Ninjutsu that Musashi knew of - admittedly limited, as she was a Ronin - held such godlike power; and if one existed, from what Musashi knew of Mirabelle, she was no god. But, lastly, and perhaps the biggest blunder Mirabelle made - was that the technique was augmented by the abilities of Yin. Musashi's sensitivity as a Ronin gave her the ability to sense the souls of all living things - it was how Musashi had deduced that Mirabelle was a Jinchuriki, due to the second soul dwelling within her - but it also allowed her sensitivities to the Spirit Realm, and the Yin techniques employed by Shinobi. Musashi could sense the Yin-augmented energies from Mirabelle coursing through body, despite the intense, searing pain.

But in a moment of clarity, as all of nature came to unify with Musashi...the illusion was shattered, as scales of chakra began to cloak Musashi's upper torso and arms, falling off her in an aura like scattered cherry blossoms. As a Mode similar in functionality to Sage Mode, invoking the melding of Natural Energy into her chakra, it would shatter the illusion not as a Chakra Surge, but as a foreign energy infusion.

Empowered by her Dokkodo, she would notice as Mirabelle became cloaked in energy of her own - the beast within, as it were - and began to rush towards Musashi. Musashi would cast a technique of her own, though, as she also rushed towards Mirabelle, holding her two blades in tandem, and rushed to meat the Kunochi.

Channeling Senjutsu energies into Juuchi Yosamu, Musashi would invoke Stagnation, causing the technique to be considered a Spiritual Kenjutsu technique; this, in turn, would allow Stimulation to come into play, augmenting its strength and weakness interactions, making the Dokkodo technique - which would normally be neutral to all things - to be elementally superior to all techniques; further, though, while invoked with Stagnation, it would be a valid target to carry one of Musashi's tethers, as she infused it with a power of one of the Seven Gods of Fortune; but while also wielding Yawarakai-Te, its power of Growth could further heighten its ability, guaranteeing the technique was elementally superior to all techniques, if not doubly so.

The end result was five replica blades being released from Juuchi Yosamu, each shedding a 5m aura of Omoikane. A blade was aimed, each, at Mirabelle's arms, legs, and head. The result was to either disable the limbs outright, or to catch her new form in the expanse of Musashi's own aura emanating from the blade, and catching her in the Spiritual Tether.

While doing so, though, at minimum matching Mirabelle's speed due to the augmentation from Dokkodo and Musashi's aura slowing her opponent, she would swing Yawarakai-Te, aiming to slash across Mirabelle's torso, below her bust line, with the blade.

Description: By taking a stance and channeling copious amounts of chakra while drawing in natural energy into their blade, the user enters a swordsmen state known as Dokkodo or the Alone Way. The chakra creates several markings across the user's lower jaw and neck, extending down both arms to fully cover the forearms and arms in scale-like platings as a chakra shroud that grants a large Vizard-like mask across their faces. The general appearance differs from user to user but these traits are shared. After activation, the user gains access to the exclusive art of Senjutsu utilized via Kenjutsu in two unique forms. The first form allows the user's techniques to carry the ability to cause a foe to become petrified 3 turns after being cut, the wound drawing in natural energy and prevents passive healing until healed by outside sources or the target is petrified, whichever comes sooner. The second form allows for techniques to carry the ability to corrode techniques and targets resistances, eating away at natural defenses when striking targets to weaken and prevent natural damage resistances. Should targets be hit by the corrosive Senkenjutsu, they will take the listed damage of the technique. In addition to this, when techniques land, the amount of chakra spent will be deducted from the object's damage resistance capabilities to cause it to plummet ( i.e. if an A rank Kenjutsu was used and lands and the target can shave 20 damage, 15 ( half of 30 chakra ) of it will be removed to leave 5 Damage Shaving ). Should their damage resistance drop to 0, it will remain there until being healed by outside sources.
Note: Can only be used 3 times each battle, each use lasting up to 8 turns. After ending, the user cannot use A rank and above physical techniques ( Tai/Ken, Jutsu with extended/detailed physical movements, etc ) for two turns and the effects of the 20% Torso Health drawbacks trigger. Each subsequent use adds 10% to the Torso Health drawbacks.
Note: Samurai and Ronin are capable of using Dokkodo techniques without entering the state though if they do, they experience a 10 damage increase compared to shinobi using the mode.

Description: A restricted skill among the Ronin, Omoikane invokes the skill of Spirit Mimicry in battle, allowing the user to link their spiritual energy with that of the targets. Initiated alongside another Ronin Kenjutsu technique, this technique creates a 5 meter wave of chakra that accompanies a technique, neither debuffing nor augmenting its power. Instead, this wave of chakra is intended to contact an enemy source of chakra to establish a spiritual link. Once done, this causes a mixing of spiritual energy that allows the user to disrupt the enemy's spirit with their own. When effected by Omoikane, all of the opponent's techniques are treated as if they have had a usage expended for the duration of the tether. This means, for example, that a technique that could only be activated once per battle but had yet to be used could not be used while tethered through the effects of Omoikane. If a technique does not have a usage restriction in place, it is instead placed on a one turn cooldown every time it is used, meaning it cannot be used in consecutive turns or repeatedly in the same turn. Because of the associated cost, the user loses 20 chakra and 10 health each turn this is active, being able to end this voluntarily. This chakra and health loss cannot be mitigated, applying after healing abilities at the end of each turn.
Note: Can only be used by Rōnin biographies and only once per battle.
Note: Can be used as a standalone technique or alongside another Ronin technique, occurring in the same timeframe in the case of the latter.
Note: If the effects of Omoikane end, the usage that this technique suppressed is restored, and any cooldowns affected by this technique are immediately refreshed.

This was created to disarm opponents by targeting their hands and wrists to strike quickly and cause them to lose grip of their weapon. If successful, this causes the opponent to be unable to utilize their hands for two turns. The user can substitute the chakra hilt for a replica of their sword for higher damage, disabling the use of the targetted limb for twice as long as well.
Note: Can only be used with Dokkodo active. Ronin and Samurai are capable of utilizing outside of the mode.

Despite the illusionary spell placed on Musashi; she somehow managed to free herself from within its confines. It became very clear to Mirabelle; she underestimated the skill the Ronin had within her. It was almost impressive to the point of Mirabelle wondered if she could recruit her away from the organization but alas, it was a thought to be attended to after the tournament was done and over with. Of course, with her ascended mode too it became very clear both ladies was within their peak states. Mirabelle however realized that Musashi went on the offensive - as she immediately would have had several blades of chakra appear and launched at the maiden. As they drew closer, Mirabelle utilized her enhanced speed to outright dodge the blades, as she flanked towards her right side moving five meters from her original point of location (utilizing a once per turn freeform dodge mechanic) - keeping also outside the range of the expanding ‘wave’ of spiritual energy of the opponent (roughly three meters away from the wave’s end point. Once she did this; she would have quickly released a dragon composed of fire release and lightning release + Yin. It was extremely powerful, being ten meters long from head to tail. It would have the Hungry Ghost Spiritual Being Attached to it as well.

Description: A more powerful version of “Yin Release Hungry Ghost Technique.” Rather than the user arbitrarily adding their Yin Release chakra to a specific technique, the user will create a number of large, elemental dragons using any of the basic elements plus their Yin Release chakra. The user can create up to 5 serpentine dragons which, once created, can act independently according to the user’s will. Due to the user being able to manipulate multiple elements at once, each dragon created can be of a different nature. Each dragon will also have the absorption properties of “Hungry Ghost,” thus becoming even more dangerous. However, due to the massive amount of chakra and control needed to use these dragons, the user can only control two dragons at any given time. While the dragons are present, the user cannot use any Yang Release or elemental techniques of the natures that currently exist within the dragons. Yin Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users can combine two natures together in order to make a multi-elemental dragon or even a dragon consisting of an advanced element or CE that they know. However, in doing so they will only be able to create two dragons.

Description: A unique technique that utilizes the chakra of which a Bijuu is capable of transferring into it's Jinchuriki. This chakra is commonly refered in two different types, negative white chakra and positive black chakra as seen when a Jinchuriki/Bijuu is stabilizing the ratio within a Bijuudama. However this is infusion technique in which allows the Jinchurki to separately infuse one of the mentioned chakra forms above in order to achieve unique effects, while also recreating the ratio balance within i.e elemental ninjutsu.
Positive Black Chakra when infused into a technique of the Jinchuriki becomes mixed into the technique; allowing for the selected technique to have it's nautral weakness removed and instead behave akin to Bijuu Chakra; thus being neutral to all. This process is done by tampering with the ratio of the technique, allowing for the infused jutsu to be created just as normal but with the additional chakra it would play the role of neutralizing the selected technique. The infused technique of course remains the same; having i.e fire still capable of dealing burning damage etc. One cosmetic change however is the infused techniques tend to appear more darker than normal, showing that the technique is under the effects of the infusion.

Negative White Chakra when infused into a technique of the Jinchuriki becomes mixed into the technique; will seek to become enhanced and gain far more power than before. The technique in question will gain an additional rank for A Ranks and below while S Ranks and above will gain +20. This is based on the idea of wanting to empower other techniques the Bijuu has no inherit affinity towards such as the Nibi towards Fire Release and as such cannot be applied to it. One cosmetic change however is the infused techniques tend to appear more lighter than normal, showing that the technique is under the effects of the infusion.

Each infusion can only be used twice per battle; though the technique over all may be used four times. Infusion lasts as long as the applied technique, while this technique goes on a two turn cool while no S Rank and above Bijutsu in the same and next turn.

Once shes does, the dragon quickly head towards the swordsmaiden - but with an additional infusion of chakra during their original conception allowed them to become enhanced. As a result, the dragon would become entirely a Bijuu based technique - getting the strengths and weaknesses of a Bijutsu technique but being also being empowered by Mirabelle’s current transformation (No Debuff is currently applied to Musashi). Due to the this, the dragon would attempt to swallow the swordsman, though that wouldn’t be an easy task due to the sheer size and power behind the beast and how it would simply redirect and pursue her.

Mirabelle would have then created a chakra arm to form behind her and cause it to burrow into the ground, as she controlled it and waited for the moment to strike.

Musashi watched as Mirabelle avoided the blades with her enhanced speed. Musashi wasn't surprised as the incredible might that Mirabelle possessed, and doubted that this was the absolute extent of power that the Jinchuriki possessed. While Musashi could match her for the moment, it left a single thing glaringly obvious to the swordswoman: in a battle of attrition, she would lose. While the teachings of The Alone Way were allowing her to contend at the moment, she could not sustain the form forever, and the recoil it would inflict would be frighteningly detrimental.

She could not let the fight progress that far.

Even still, with the Omoikane infused Sword Bullet missing, Musashi could feel a strain on her own spirit as the tether manifested and dissipated, the incredible tension recoiling across her own Spirit. It would be a moment until she could call upon those powers and manifest her Spiritual Kenjutsu...

Mirabelle avoided the barrage of blades, ending up some distance away, and managed to even avoid the spiritual tether surrounding them; Musashi could feel her retort, as more Yin chakra manifested from within her, and large Dragon manifested, crackling with energy.

Despite its obvious power, its was slow - and not much wider across than the barrage of blades Musashi had manifested when one included the aura from her Omoikane technique. She twirled as she raced towards Mirabelle, avoiding the maw of the Dragon (once per turn freeform dodge), and responding with a technique of her own, as Mirabelle was beginning to form her arm of chakra, Musashi manifesting her own technique in the heartbeat between the two.

The shroud of chakra created by the Alone Way that manifested around Musashi would disperse across the combat space in a blinding flash, spiking it as it happened. The burning chakra would blind Mirabelle, both through her regular vision, and any sort of chakra sensory, if she possessed any. As the elucidating chakra spread, though, and would further heighten and manifest, creating an even more oppressive presence within Musashi's aura...and preventing Mirabelle from escaping, so long as Musashi was bound to her blade. And finally, Musashi would manifest spectral blades around her, which she flung towards Mirabelle like oversized shuriken, aiming to take advantage of the fact that she doubted Mirabelle could see them, through all the blinding effects.

Making sure to keep her awareness of the Dragon via her spiritual sensing, after flinging some mystical blades towards Mirabelle with Blinding Light, she would focus energy across Yawarakai-Te, as her own improvement on White Blade Flow would manifest, causing the already pure white blade to begin to leave a glittering trail, ever brilliant in the blinding light that flooded the field.

Following behind her Blinding Light blades as she did this, Musashi did not relent, as she rushed at Mirabelle at the extent of her speed as she could, while also retaining her own awareness; she would cut upwards with Juuchi Yosamu such that it was aimed as the underarm of Mirabelle's right arm, while cutting downwards with Yawarakai-Te, parallel to that cut such that she would cut across Mirabelle's chest.

From the short range that Musashi was invoking her attack, Mirabelle's chakra arm manifesting approximately before True White Blade Flow could manifest, judging by Musashi's judgement of the speed of manifestation of the two techniques and when they respectively began; but that would stop the swordswoman, as she once again attempted to strike Mirabelle with a hail of swords, once again empowered by Yawarakai-Te's ability of Growth.

The swords would fling out from around Musashi: two aimed for each of Mirabelle's arms, at her elbows; a single aimed at where this chakra arm manifested from Mirabelle's backside; one for the woman's solar plexus; and the last aiming to come down from overhead, in a vertical descent. Musashi aimed to overwhelm Mirabelle with a flurry of blows - her own delivered sword strikes, a hail of blades raining toward her, and the blade from overhead as well, though never once losing track of the Dragon, and ready to adjust course in the blink of an eye to avoid its pursuit of her.

Description: By using the chakra shroud granted from the Dakkodo technique, the user causes the built up chakra in the arms and torso to dissipate and spread through the field in a bright flood instantly. By spiking the chakra, the user causes multiple effects, the first of which being that the chakra burns a bright color, effectively blinding anyone present via sight and chakra sensory. Secondly, the user causes the chakra around the field to grow higher and denser, creating a box of sorts around the field to prevent escape or retreat. Third, the user can make use of the chakra flooding the field around short-range of himself to create sword replicas to fight with, allowing him to either send various arcs and blades to the target or create a replica of himself 5 meters away from the target to use other Kenjutsu based attacks. Because the sword is the catalyst for these effects, the effects last as long as the user maintains hold on the blade. If his hold on the blade ends, this technique and Dakkodo will be forcibly ended and the drawbacks triggered early.
Note: Lasts 4 turns or when the user lets the sword go, whichever is shorter. Can only be used 3 times.

Description: After entering Dokkodo, the user will focus Senjutsu enhanced chakra into their blade and charge it, such that the effects of White Blade Flow can be extended to non-Dokkodo Kenjutsu by adding 10 chakra to its cost. Doing so causes the user's sword to leave a glittering trail of glass like shards in the air simply by moving it, and allows the techniques to carry a corroding Senkenjutsu effect: the released chakra quickly corrodes through the obstacle, weakening by exposing the obstacle's "shatter point". This is a point on the technique that the Senjutsu compromises, causing it to shatter in a glow of white glass-like shards, lending to the technique's name. It is capable of destroying solids and liquids of equal chakra or lower while dispersing energy as well.

With this chakra coalescing to form a Senjutsu chakra replica of the hilt, the user causes it to fire off at the target quickly. This was created to disarm opponents by targeting their hands and wrists to strike quickly and cause them to lose grip of their weapon. If successful, this causes the opponent to be unable to utilize their hands for two turns. The user can substitute the chakra hilt for a replica of their sword for higher damage, disabling the use of the targetted limb for twice as long as well.
Note: Can only be used with Dokkodo active. Ronin and Samurai are capable of utilizing outside of the mode.

The reason being as the moment she does, Mirabelle kept visual positioning of her tracking as she managed to avoid the dragon but of course, the moment she does - Mirabelle waited very briefly for her to launch her next attack. As the blinding chakra zone came into existence - Mirabelle responded in kind, sort of. Instead, the arrow located in her quiver would automatically respond to the chakra - as the seal quickly bursts open and release a spiritual parasite. The spider like entity would find this consumption to be easy as the chakra was all around it, latching onto it and forcefully absorbing it. The caused the blinding zone to be completely erased, as the chakra was sapped and returned towards the seal on the arrow. “Nice trick, but sadly it will lead you astray!” she mentioned as the dragon redirected itself by her mental command - quickly turning back to hunt down Musashi in her new positioning. The dragon would make sure that it wouldn’t strike it’s creator in the progress as a result too, due to Musashi quickly approaching.

This parasite, black in coloration and with the appearance of a spider immediately latches onto the foreign chakra source, as it utilizes its Yin Energy to siphon the chakra. This acts as a means of protection to user, capable of triggering outside of their control though if the user is aware of the incoming technique can mentally control the seal to not trigger or trigger it willingly. The spider parasite then is sealed back into the mystic code, going into a rest period after consumption. This parasite is capable of absorbing any technique of 40 chakra and below. Can only be used twice per battle, with a cool down of three turns between each use while no Maguilty Sense Techniques of S Rank and above can be used for one turn

Once summoned, this monstrosity nigh immediately towers over the battlefield, being roughly 30 meters tall. While he looks identical to his father and lesser siblings, the egotistical off spring wanted to give himself a new "look". Thus when he appears in battle, utilizing Anatomy of Shapeshifter passively - he becomes a sort of hybrid of his base form but resembling that of a demonic whale/dragon hybrid. Personality wise, Leviathan is a far more egotistical than that of his father and siblings. He seems himself above all of humanity, often times questioning his loyalty even towards the Vessel of the Outer Gods. He only serves the latter out of respect of his father's desires and dreams. Despite all this, he shares the same base abilities as his siblings and father, but like them has his own unique powers while moving at the speed of an Jounin Ranked Shinobi. His Madness Induction is considered S-Rank, affecting Jounin Ranked and Below Shinobi or A-Rank and Below Summons/Animals. As his title might suggest, Leviathan is a master of dream weaving, aka Genjutsu. He is capable of utilizing any basic Genjutsu the Vessel of Outer Gods is capable of up to S Rank and without the need of handseals, only needing to create body gestures. While this is considered rather basic in itself, his use of Genjutsu isn't without a twist. Illusions where the target perceives some sort of sentient being or animal, i.e Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction where it creates an illusionary snake, Leviathan can manipulate the illusion, causing an illusionary form of himself instead to appear in a snake like form.

Note: Leviathan can only be summoned once per battle, twice per NW Arc and remains in battle until he is properly defeated.

Madness Induction (Unique Ability 2#) - An inherent ability is the creatures ability to induce madness into those nearby. This is done by an ability similar to Killing Intent, where the creatures causes those who experience this to see images of their death, which can invoke nausea, panic and unwillingness to approach the summon. This is an inherent ability they trigger mentally when desired, being a passive ability, which also causes those affected by to lose one rank in power to their techniques when within short range of the summon (counting as debuff), which this effect persists up to three turns, even if having left short range. However after being exposed, the target is unable to be affected until an additional two turns had passed after the madness ends, but can only be targeted once more for the battle. The effects also trigger on other summons/animals where animals who are one rank lower or lacking a rank per say (such as Inuzuka Ninken, Aburame Bugs etc) automatically become rendered unconscious when within short range, lasting for as long as they remain within this range. Summons instead flee from battle, leaving their masters aid. Vessel of the Outer God are immune to these effects as well as other creatures of the contract are immune to each other’s affects. The ranking of each madness induction will be mentioned in each summon. They also do not need to focus this ability; those are capable of performing techniques but can also willingly not induce said madness onto others.

As the Tailed Beasts are beings made of pure chakra, they are able to maintain control and sentience through their chakra when the Jinchuuriki is using a transformation that allows the use of chakra arms or partial transformations. The Tailed Beast may independently control the body parts allowing them to act on their own with or without input from the Jinchuuriki and allowing the Tailed Beast to fight without being fully released. This allows the Tailed Beast to protect their host against threats they may not be aware of or even surmount a surprise attack when the opponent least expects it. Due to the unpredictable nature of this ability, this control can be initiated at any time not costing a move and within the same timeframe as another technique. This skill makes it hard for even a fully matured Sharingan user to track and react to the sudden movements as there are no outward signs to signify the manipulation taking place.

The arms drag him into the coffin and take him to the netherworld, a dimension separate from reality and which can only be escaped from via Space/Time techniques.

At lot happened very suddenly, as when Musashi released the blinding aura from her, the chakra that composed it was quickly absorbed, as a strange apparatus seemed to manifest from Mirabelle. It was a bit of a set-back, as the blinding capability of the technique, along with its hail of blades, was to be part of Musashi's offensive pressure.

As this happened, she could feel the Yin-Dragon adjust course, aiming to strike at Musashi. She wasn't surprised that this happened, by with the density of spiritual energy in the beast, there was little else she could do at the moment but to avoid it - the only thing that could probably match it's might was Taia, but the strain from Omoikane was preventing her from manifesting techniques that used Spiritual Energies, and beyond that, the strain from using and maintaining Dokkodo would prevent her from activating the Unfettered Mind state she needed to clear her mind enough to manifest such a spirit.

When Mirabelle swiped her thumb and a puff of smoke manifested - something Musashi recognized as a Summoning Technique - the flow of battle would change very abruptly, though. A tremendous beast with immense pressure manifested, its alien aura immediately emanating. Its presence was tremendous.

Musashi's mind raced, as she felt the need to create distance between herself and whatever it was that Mirabelle had just manifested, and she needed to do it quickly.

Musashi quickly released a flash-bomb from her hands - if Blinding Light wouldn't manifest, this would have to do - as she avoided Mirabelle's Yin-Dragon once more; and also, though inadvertently, as she used Flicker Evasion to retreat to a tremendous distance (Long), using her full speed to do so, moving at a speed far surpassing any of Mirabelle's techniques. If she was lucky, the Smoke-Flash Bomb would blind Mirabelle completely, and perhaps the abomination that she manifested, and perhaps the Yin-Dragon would careen into one of the two.

As she came to create distance, Mirabelle's onslaught seemed unrelenting, as a coffin of sorts seemed to manifest behind Musashi...but, it too, was slow compared to the swordswoman, who was understandably in an alerted state, after being near the presence of that...thing. The coffin's reach was small, though, as Musashi simply avoided the deluge of arms that came from it (free form dodge).

Musashi took a moment to steel herself, though she couldn't quite shake off the feeling washing over her from that creature's deranged nature. Rather than waste more of her stamina, she chose to conserve her strength - the recoil from Omoikane was wanning, and she could soon resume use of her Ronin Spiritual Kenjutsu.

But her strength seemed sapped, shaken by the creature's aura, and Musashi knew she would need to close the distance - she was inherently at a disadvantage at range against a Shinobi, and The Alone Way's power would fade if she lingered too long...

She breathed deeply, continuing to fuel chakra into Blinding Light - though the apparatus has absorbed it at the time, as it was a channeled technique, Musashi chose to simply continue fueling it, with hopes that the apparatus would reach its limit before Musashi did, and perhaps she could at least manifest a blinding aura once more, to provide her some much needed breathing room.

Description: Similar in use to the smoke and flash bombs respectively, this tech dazes the senses by emitting a powerful sound and light. It was powerful enough to block even enhanced senses of sight and hearing, leaving those with vision and sound based sensing useless. It's major downside, however, is that due to affecting a wide area, allies could also be caught in the blast radius if not warned beforehand. Due to the mass amount of chakra released from the explosion, chakra based sensing dilate also left useless. These are also able to negate B rank and below technological sensing devices as well.

Eyes of the Gods (Basic Ability #2): Despite its name, this ability refers to Cthulu and his children’s ability to sense the Chakra, or souls of other beings. Be it human, animal or other, if they possess either Chakra or a soul, they are within his scope. This is potent enough that even it is impossible to hide one’s Chakra or spiritual presence from them regardless of method or skill. This allow him to remember individuals he’s encountered or even deduct elemental chakra natures. This extends up to 1 adjacent landmark in ninja world.

Telepathic Communication (Basic Ability 3#) - The final basic ability of the creatures are their ability to communicate with each other telepathically. This done among the creatures themselves, with the Vessel of the Outer God, allies or even enemies, prying into their minds to speak. This is strictly used for communication purposes, in which they can respond back to the creatures as well. This doesn't require a move slot in order to utilize, simply being cosmetic.
Despite the attempt at pinching Musashi in, she was clearly too fast for all the attacks to land as intended, as the Flash - Smoke Bomb triggered. Initially Mirabelle was caught within it - unable to see or hear, but her lack of a sensory ability would be shattered too…if she had one to say the least. However - her summoned partner was way out of the reach of the blastzone (being 30 meters tall vs the area of effect being mid ranged). “Pathetic humans believe they can avoid the Eyes of a God!” he bellowed within the shared mental connection with the Vessel of the Outer Gods and also Musashi's own mind too.

Using his own tracking skills, Leviathan easily managed to keep his attention on Musashi who attempted to clear out as quickly as she could. He relayed the information mentally to Mirabelle who coordinated the assault with him. The dragon would have stopped it’s movement, ascending into the air via Mirabelle’s own control - heading into Musashi’s direction once more. Leviathan would have simultaneously invaded Musashi’s mind with an illusion. It was quite an infamous one at that, as Musashi would become incapable of possibly escaping. As such, once this was triggered - water immediately began to gush out of Musashi’s body, from almost every possible location. The lack of oxygen would cause her to become panicked, hyperventilating immediately as this would also be reflected in reality - unknown to the woman as she was already afraid of Levithan himself. This would occur instantly before she can fully retreat into long range, though this wasn’t an issue for Mirabelle.


Genjutsu: Akuma no Izumi | Illusionary Arts: The Demonic Fountain

Description: The user does 2 hand seals (Ram+Dog) and inserts his chakra into his opponents brain. By doing this he triggers an illusion were the enemy will suddenly feel as if water is gushing inside his mouth, both bursting and flowing out of his mouth but also into his air ways, drowning him from the inside. The water gushes and flows with increased volume and speed as time passes, quickly overflowing his air ways, lungs, gastric tract, stomach and also his ears, leaving the enemy in a state of desperation as he struggles to breathe and gain balance within this demonic overflow of water. As the human reflex in a drowning situation is to gasp for air, the enemy will eventually start, in reality, to hyperventilate (without noticing) which will lead progressively to him fainting. Of course, all of what the enemy experiences is but an illusion and his lost of conscience is due to his own hyperventilating panic.

Note: Enemy has to release the gen in his immediate counter or he'll lose conscience the beginning of the users following turn

The dragon had already ascended into the air, but on the ground the Jinchuriki didn’t waste any time - using the information Leviathan relayed to her in terms of Musashi’s movements. She would arc her two chakra tails towards her mouth, to which she balance the negative and positive chakra. It was a new skill she attained only recently - but never the less, she released the Incomplete Tailed Beast Ball - as she ‘swallowed’ it and released as a powerful massive beam into the direction of her opponent’s location.

If she dodged, the beam was wide and powerful enough to completely level the area in front of her as a result. It would be empowered by the Void Relic as well, increasing its power to the utmost of her current abilities. The dragon would have been slightly out of range of this attack, aiming to come down and attack Muashi afterwards, once again giving chase. Her Tailed Beast Bomb occured at the same time as Leviathan casting his illusion, allowing seamless transitioning one another’s tactics.

( Bijutsu: Chūtohanpa Bijudama ) Biju Technique: Incomplete Tailed Beast Ball

Description: An incomplete, smaller and less powerful version of the full Tailed Beast Ball, this attack can be used by Jinchurikis and Pseudo Jinchuriki's while in their incomplete transformations. Like its original full version, the Tailed Beast Ball is a statement of the massive amount of powerful chakra contained inside the Bijuu but manifested into a massive chakra ball or into a beam of destructive chakra. To form the attack, they gather both positive black chakra (+の黒チャクラ, purasu no kuro chakura), and negative white chakra (−の白チャクラ, mainasu no shiro chakura), shape it into a sphere, and then compress it in front of their mouth. Then they can either release it as a sphere attack or swallow it, releasing afterwards a massive beam of chakra much faster than the projectile version. The black and white chakra needs to be balanced at an 8:2 ratio respectively or it will backfire.

Once all this was finished, Leviathan scooped out Mirabelle as he morphed his body in orde to create wings. He lifted himself of the ground and headed into the direction of the opponent with Mirabelle in tow.

Description: This technique acts as the outline of Cthulhu and his children's ability to shape their natural body. An intrinsic ability, these summons are capable of manipulating their anatomy to a minor to large degree, ranging from shifting their limbs into powerful physically blunt or sharpen constructs, down to completely mimicking the appearance of humans and animals alike, with them being anything the user desires (within reason, such as not being able to make waves or anything that "detaches" from the summon). These changes can be made for offensive, defensive and supplementary purposes, depending on the needs of the summoner or summons themselves. They can use it to increase or decrease in size though they can only grow x1.5 their original height while also creating limbs they originally didn't have such as wings to fly or tentacles to grab and constrict others. These limbs can grow and reach up to mid-range of Spawn of Cthulhu, while Leviathan and Cthulhu himself can reach up to long rang, with the amount of damage ranging based on the rank applied. D - B Rank can be used at unlimited amounts of times, A rank capable of being used thrice per summon in battle and S rank twice per battle with each having a cool down of two turns before being capable of using it again. These constructs are considered neutral to elemental ninjutsu and multiple can be made in a single use, though the damage splits based on rank applied. Signers of the contract with the ability to access "Sage Mode (Imperfect or Perfect) " can also utilize this on themselves as well due to their similar anatomy, though can only go up to mid-range. While clashing with opposing techniques, these constructs do not cause any damage to the summons themselves, simply being extensions of themselves. However if they are overpowered by opposing techniques, the extensions simply detach and become useless.

Note: Leviathan Has Jounin Tracking Speed (10) Which Allows Him To Track 14 SPD At Base. His Eyes of God is x3 Tracking Which Allows Him to Track Musashi (30 SPD vs 42 Tracking).

I'll keep this relatively brief because I don't want to do that Chris checking method on my phone cause ill be here all day.

Overall this is probably my favorite read in the tournament thus far because there wasn't a tremendous amount of issues that immediately stood out. I didn't much like that genjutsu being used as a pseudo paralysis and combined with yin to prevent surges that was grimy, keotsu the way you're using those custom weapons to give a double strength is a no, you can't do that in the game.

Other than that there wasn't glaring issues, Keotsu fought against the odds very well given Ian has a vastly superior arsenal and everyone loves a underdog. But I think Ian had control throughout and overall had the stronger showing so he advances.

Good showing though like I said.
