Why do people bring the desert crap always? Deidara didn't go full out on Gaara and he won. Sasuke beat Deidara effortlessly in their encounter. The reason why Sasuke was tired because of the chidori he inflicted on himself. Gaara could beat Hebi Sasuke in the desert. But i doubt he can beat Taka Sasuke or EMS Sasuke in a desert. You forget that he can fly as well. :scorps:

Deidara only won bcos gaara was trying to protect his village, plus he was not fighting on a desert he was fighting over it. Plus sasuke can no longer fly without summons, he doesnt have curse seal anymore. PLUS he cant do a flying susano while riding on a hawk.

Well, personally i think it gona be a quite a intense battle but sasuke has more chance of winning say (55%) if gaara is not in a desert
This is my analysis:
1. yes gaara can block amaterasu read this:

even if he cant he can just use replacement jutsu.
2. Gaara's sand shield took nearly five wallop from madara's swords before breaking so its quite strong to stop projectiles.
3. Gaara can pull sasuke away from the ground just like he did madara
4. ems techniques take a lot of chakra, but sand techs are relatively less taxing.
Conclusion: Its not gona be a easy win, first one to make a mistake will die and sasuke tends to underestimate.

Wow! Do you know that it's 5 against 1! Madara isn't even taking action. He's basically standing like a sitting duck. I will admit that he did block amaterasu, but his sand is automatic. So of course it will block it. Gaara won't be able to pull Sasuke from Susanoo that easily. I don't know why because Sasuke has been using his MS techs without any signs of exhaustion. Sasuke has beaten Gaara in human form. Plus, Gaara doesn't even know Sasuke's arsenal that well. Sasuke already knows Gaara blocked amaterasu. I can't see any Kage beating Sasuke, honestly. Unless it's Onoki and Tsunade that manage to hit him. But the others will lose.

I hate to sayt it because you said it yourself lol but yes ameratsu! If he gets touched by it he dies, if his sand gets touched by it ...well.....it will either turn to Ash as mentioned in the Ameratsu explanation or at the very least melt into glass which would be useless for Gara.

Sasuke's also managed to out move Gara's sand in the past, then there Kirin or Genjutsu

Gara's strong but he's not well suited to a fight with Sasuke.

gaara(all kages ) is fighting 5 wood clones of madara which is still 10x stronger then sasuke. sasuke has not shown exhaustion because he hasn't had a real battle anyone can kill fodders without getting tired

The way gaara was defeated was pathetic. I mean the little bombs snuck in the shield and blew up. Gaara is defeated? He was doing good multitasking, but he stayed in that shield too long. I would of moved my ass from that scenerio.
