"Hmm? What's that sound..?" Mae said causing her hornet to turn and face the newcomer who had graced them with her presence. Following in suit, her BFFs also turned to follow the sound of the melody that began to play from behind them. The sound was quite enticing to the dwarves who loved the sound of beautiful music and they seemed to float on the notes that played as they investigated the source of the melody.Luck was her lover because if not for it, she'd have died in the storm that destroyed her tiny boat. Why had she been in the middle of the sea with her tiny boat, Amant was a little too hangover to remember. All that had mattered now was finding food, dry clothes, a dry towel (her fur was wet with the saltwater), and some more booze-- all things that money could buy. The one thing her broke character didn't have (along with everything else she needed with the money).
Walking through the dynamite-shaped island she spotted a merchant talking with a couple of men, and dwarfs. Immediately she'd approach the group as they moved from the merchant. Hoping to convince them to let her tag along she'd call out to them in the most friendly voice she could muster while playing a strum of the guitar to entice them to pay her some attention. This trick was quite useful in getting attention. People always responded to harmonious sounds even if just for a second.
"oi, oi, what yall up to?"
"Hmph! That anyway to introduce yourself?" Mae asked the Panda Mink curiously, peering into her large pink eyes and looking while she seemed equally curious about the guitar that was being held by her. Was it worth anything? MAe didn't know but it seemed like an interesting enough item. Secretly, she plotted on how'd she get her hands on it. Meanwhile, X.O. and Bacchus also decided to see who was causing all the commotion and were surprised to find another Mink here on Centuarea beside Battle Beast. They had not run across many minks in their travels and argurably, Thokk was the first of X.O. had ever encountered.
"What'd ya want, were a bit busy if you couldn't tell." X.O. reply as he made his way through the myriad of dwarves that were now attempting to surround the newcomer, all equally curious as to what she was up to. X.O. wasn't in the best of moods, but he couldn't say he wasn't interested in the melodies coming from the guitar.
