“A land lost to time”. So it came to be known. It was a place of unknown origin, hiding secrets within it. Sasuke’s pursuit of greater power led him to seek out lost and forgotten places. After his battle against Kaguya, Momoshiki and inevitably, the Ōtsutsuki, Sasuke realized there was more to this world than what meets the eye.
Having gained the ability of Yin release from Hagoromo, Sasuke’s perception of the world changed. A spiritual side, perhaps repressed before, now came to the forefront. Symbols, ancient rituals and mythology started to interest him and gain a form of life on its own. He would seek it, and learn from it. Perhaps he had neglected his own spirituality...Itachi usually was the one more attuned to it. Sasuke couldn’t help but wonder what his brother would have done had he been in his shoes.
The island was quiet, desolate yet refreshing. Something reverberated within it. Perhaps a relic of sorts? It seemed the place itself was a living entity, with Yin and Yang paralells littered through symbols and carvings. An ancient passage way led Sasuke to a nearby temple, hidden from sight. The flicker of flames drew his attention as he entered. His eyes, not yet activated remained cautious as he scanned the place.
Despite being abandoned, Sasuke didn’t throw away the thought that he might find someone...or something. His entrance into the temple was met with an odd sound. Conversation? It seems he was right, and not only individual, but two from the sound of it. Sasuke would walk forward and approach these men.
As the light cast on them, Sasuke’s eyes widened. The man carried an odd apprarance, perhaps that of an ancient king or warlord? He couldn’t be sure. With him, an odd entity. Perhaps of Chakra origins? It wasn’t clear but it was sentient. A dangerous sight to behold, even without communication.
Sasuke’s dark robes covered most of his being, with his arm hanging beneath it. A slow yet confident walk revealed Sasuke into the light of the flickering black and white flames.
“It seems I’m not alone after all..”
He says in a stoic manner.
