It would make sense for it to be Proof in the title since he is the founder, and maybe the guy just wanted to make a nice discussion about some stuff. However, it defeats the purpose of the base if you just wanted to discuss theories as the main concept, and you also mentioned thread templates and other things, but, as you've highlighted, since the bulk of discussion will be based on naruto theories it's absolutely pointless, as you could make threads to discuss certain theories, instead of going to the effort of creating a group like this with you as the founder.
You'd also end up getting more opinion and richer discussion about your topic as a consequence of the threads you create instead of a group discussion where you are limited to certain views alone. So it sounds more of you selecting certain people to join, maybe at first it would be anyone who joins, but then you could end up narrowing down to only a few people and gain a group of followers whose opinion you'd value over others on the base. Then many other people on the base would aspire to join and you'd become a sound figure on the bay gaining much respect and awe - not that you already aren't, but there really isn't any limit to how far a person can go, with new people joining everyday as well.
Well, I could be exaggerating, but you did say you wanted the best and/
