Does Sasuke really owe anything to Konoha? Does he need redemption?

If anything he should explain to everyone the truth and unviel all the lies Konoha had been feeding it's citizens and then maybe they'll understand. But so long as they (Shika, Kiba, Sakura, etc) are living the lie about mistreatment of the Uchiha after the Kurama attack and their part in the massacre they'll understand a little bit.

Because Konoha is partially responsibe for him losing his family, he owes Kooha nothing. But he does owe those who risked their lives to bring him back in the Sasuke Retrival arc and thank you for their effort for his sake.

They raised him and gave him a home. Plus the people there risked a lot to protect him from Orochimaru, so yes he does need redemption.

Raising him and giving him a home is equivalent to killing your family and lieing to Sasuke about his own brother. What the leaf did was take away everyone he loved and basically ignored him. Almost like an outsider.

What Sasuke did going with Orochimaru was the Leaf's fault. Yes it was Sasuke's decision to leave, but if the elders would have told Sasuke the truth about what Itachi did, Sasuke wouldn't have run off with Orochimaru to get stronger to kill him. What Sasuke did was understandable. So he doesn't need redemption, they just need to know everything.

He's only doing it for his brother, Sasuke couldn't care less about the villagers but he'll protect them on his brothers behalf despite not owing anything to that horrible village.

I didn't agree with his "destroy ALL of Konoha " including the innocents, even though it somewhat makes sense as the Elders ordered the killing of the entire Uchiha clan, innocents included.

But yeah, I think he should just help them save the world and then disappear. Just start his own life somewhere else, away from the village. Hopefully Naruto doesn't follow him.

If Sasuke explains what had happened to his family, I can see a lot of people apologizing/feeling sorry for him. But he does need to apologize to team 7, B, and Ay.
