I think the Mayans, who were very good at astrology, where able to predict the alignment of the planets or whatever all those centuries ago.
By a new era they might mean:
A new cycle (in relation to astrology or their calendar)
or perhaps they truly did believe the world would end because of whatever religious beliefs they once had.

Why would the end of the world will come now?
everyone makes drama of it and after the 21st-25th December they will find [Ofc] an new date for the end of the world ._. and ofc its gonna be fake again.

If there was a black near our Solar system right now we all be dead. The gravitational pull would have gotten us be now.
Many people say planet X is going to crash into us on the 21st. If that was the case we would already have seen a big black moon like object in the sky already. The Myans didn't include leap year in their Calender. For the Meteor same thing I said about planet X. And for God and the trumphets I highly doubt angels played such ugly sounds when people started hearing strange things on earth. And for the 3 nights of darkness all we have to worry about is the cold. How do we know it Earth aligns with the Universe last time I check there's no middle of the Universe so it cant be alligned.

That's a assumption based on nothing. Though noone can prove there is a middle of the universe, neither can anyone prove there isn't. Our knowledge as a species doesn't go that far at this moment.

That's a assumption based on nothing. Though none can prove there is a middle of the universe, neither can anyone prove there isn't. Our knowledge as a species doesn't go that far at this moment.

But space is forever expanding how can everything in the Universe align in one specific date, at the same time.

What if you get shot in the head with M82 50 cal? Will there still be that moment? For how long will it last? Will those pieces of your brain that fly all over the place will be capable of giving you that moment ?

So, were getting close to December 21 2012, only 11 days left. Well I personally don't belive it will happen, but one thing that makes me doubt is...studies from the bible. They show that when the days are near to an end one sign will be natural disasters, and There was the Hurricane Sandy In Ny, and the earthquakes in Canada,

Those sign might mean it is but probably not yet, can't say.

What do you guys think? what do you believe will happen? why? and how?

And if you do die, do you have any regrets?
