The planet has seen meteor and asteroid strikes, volcanic eruptions, tsunames, typhoons, droughts, cosmic rays, collisions with other planetoids (in it's infancy), massive flooding, massive radiation, the changing of the magnetic poles; the only thing that has come of these "catastrophes" is the extinction of 99% of all animal life...
It's not hard to "predict" these things because they are bound to happen.
In the words of George Carlin, " The planet is just fine, it's us who are ****ed..."

If you believe in 2012 being the end, Then you might as well start believing in fairy tales and unicorns.
The world was supposed to of ended many many times in the past couple of years, large hadron collider creating a black hole, Rapture, massive earth quake to kill all man kind.
Also in the early 2000, asteroids, y2k, more rapture and so on
People arn't happy without a doomsday prophecy every year.

But seriously, it won't. Rumors are just rumors. There are even rumors where I live that on the 22nd or 23rd? I don't know, i don't pay attention to it that much, Earth is going to move to the fourth Solar path (what are they called again?
) and the sky is going to be night for about two to three days.

Plus a mod can delete this if it isn't in the right section or this thread is useless I don't really mind. I just wanted to post this that's all and see what you guys think.
Just some thing I heard about this specific date.
There was a stupid rumour or a chain letter that was on Facebook ill post the correct Paragraph of it:
And This was a hoax. NASA never said any of this. It's just something I read entitled
Three days of Darkness
NASA predicts total blackout on 23-25 Dec 2012 during alignment of Universe.
US scientists predict Universe change, total blackout of planet for 3 days from Dec 23 2012.
It is not the end of the world, it is an alignment of the Universe, where the Sun and the earth will align for the first time. The earth will shift from the current third dimension to zero dimension, then shift to the forth dimension. During this transition, the entire Universe will face a big change, and we will see a entire brand new world.
The 3 days blackout is predicted to happen on Dec 23, 24, 25....during this time, staying calm is most important, hug each other, pray pray pray, sleep for 3 nights...and those who survive will face a brand new world....for those not prepared, many will die because of fear. Be happy, enjoy every moment now. Don't worry, pray to God everyday. There is a lot of talk about what will happen in 2012, but many people don't believe it, and don't want to talk about it for fear of creating fear and panic.
We don't know what will happen, but it is worth listening to USA's NASA talk about preparation. Whether it's true or not, better be prepared. No panic, stay calm, just prays. Remember to smile more, love more and forgive more...every day. Better avoid traveling during December.

Many believers of god say the date that was ended by the Mayans. Was the day of the second coming of Jusus, of course many denied it but the believers say different. says in the bible, the signs that comes before the second coming are the "seven trumpets", some of yous saw the youtube videos of strange sounds coming from all over the world right? Yeah supposedly that was it. But the part that was strange about is that events are suppose to happen after each trumpet was sounded.You can search it up for yourself.The only thing that's in common with the first rumour I wrote about NASA. When the Fourth trumpet goes off everything goes dark the sun vanishes(not disappearing but being block by thick and dark clouds) that's what this and the other have in common. Also devices fail during this time. It gets cold because lack of heat produced by the sun since its blocked. IDK I can go on forever with this one but you guys wouldn't want to know.

Meh i survived y 2k which was suppsoed to be computers trying to kill us i surived 11-11-11 and i survived every otehr thing that came in my life time so dear 2012
but really the bible says we will not know the day year or time spoemthing tells me the final day will be the day every one starst thinking the world will never end because no one will expect it

If there was a black near our Solar system right now we all be dead. The gravitational pull would have gotten us be now.
Many people say planet X is going to crash into us on the 21st. If that was the case we would already have seen a big black moon like object in the sky already. The Myans didn't include leap year in their Calender. For the Meteor same thing I said about planet X. And for God and the trumphets I highly doubt angels played such ugly sounds when people started hearing strange things on earth. And for the 3 nights of darkness all we have to worry about is the cold. How do we know it Earth aligns with the Universe last time I check there's no middle of the Universe so it cant be alligned.
