I have one question.

Did Light forget that he was Kira,after he left the prison(false execution) and previously told his shinigami to destroy the book?


I am a little confused about him?

A certain amount of days in prison he told Ryuk to transfer the notebook, not destroy it.
When it was transferred away he lost all of his memories of him ever using the Death Note.

Not sure if you're this far yet, but spoiler alert.

Because Light is smart enough it was all his plan to lose the Death Note, he eventually regains his memories as Kira and the Death Note, all according to plan.
