Description: A vast, rigged cliff side that overlooks the open ocean expanse that carries to the West. Built carefully, albeit rather precariously into the hillsides is a handful of wood and stone huts, long since abandoned by whomever once inhabited them, now left to be claimed by mother nature in steady overgrowth that makes them blend into the mossy fields that stretch in all directions, save the small beach of sand.
I will be using my Chise Hatori biography that can be found by clicking the image in my signature. Without further ado, you are welcome to have the first post if you would like, otherwise I can go after you post your biography you'd like to use.
Chise had taken to the hills surrounding the area in the company of Ruth at her side in an effort to investigate the rumor of a rather "strange" individual who had been spotted within the abandoned huts that riddled the hillsides. She wasn't all too sure what she was meant to find, yet the description of the individual rang oddly familiar to her, as though she had seen someone like him in the village of Tsumigakure once or twice. If her suspicions were correct and this person was in fact someone from the village, then no doubt like many of the others she had come to know from the village, they'd expect a spar..
As she moved through the mossy, rigged landscape, Chise made it a point to begin forming a bond with the Ryūmyaku located within the earth, beneath her feet. She had the desire to ensure some semblance of advantage was given to her in favor of the terrain, hoping to, if nothing else, give her a sense of familiarity to the strange location. As a doubled effort, Chise focused on the area around her in an effort to try and sense any chakra sources that could be nearby in an effort to locate the individual she was looking for, or at the very least anticipate a technique in use.

". This technique requires the user has direct contact with the ground, and takes 1 turn for them to "attune" to the flow of the natural leylines of energy. Once they have, all of their techniques that utilize Earth Release Chakra are made considerably more powerful, due to the influence of the Ryūmyaku on their Chakra flow. This boost remains for as long as the user remains connected to the ground. Minor interruptions, such as both feet leaving the ground, only break off the connection if the user remains off of the ground for 1 full turn, after which, they need to spend another turn attuning to the Ryūmyaku. Remains active for 4 turns max, and requires 2 turns before it can be activated again.

Chise stopped short the moment the man revealed himself. The rumors didn't necessarily exaggerate him one bit.. He had the resemblance of a medieval jester, of some strange variety. Yet he certainly wasn't the strangest thing she had ever seen; not by a long shot... She blinked a couple times at his comment before offering a friendly smile toward him, as well a lift of a hand and a ginger wave. "Ah, well I hadn't realized that rumor made the rounds so casually.. But, yes. I am looking to improve myself however I can. If you're wanting to spar, then I'll be glad for the tutelage." Chise offered a slight bow of her head forward in respect, yet made sure not to lower herself so indifferent to her own awareness, if he would attempt an attack while she paid her respects.
Quickly, she stood straight once more with a resolved look in her eye, turning toward Ruth, they both nodded to one another in affirmation. She didn't want to escalate things too quickly, so she opted to start with simpler attacks, in the hopes of pacing the fight as an appropriate warmup

In a rapid effort, Chise plucked two scrolls from her back as she unraveled them into the air around her in a steady swirling effect, of which she leapt up the center of and proceeded to perform a single hand seal. In doing so, several plumes of white smoke erupted from the scrolls, each producing strings connecting to Chise's fingers, accompanied at the end of them several dozen Kunai blades that were all readily launched toward her target, Hisoka.
As she made contact with the ground once again after descending from her jump, luckily before her connection to the Ryūmyaku would break, Chise quickly gathered her wind chakra into her lungs for her to exhale along the strings, allowing them to follow up toward the Kunai before fusing with the blades in quick manipulation, coating the Kunai in small shrouds of sharpened gales of wind that warped the appearance of the kunai into the shape of deer horn knives; crescent shaped curved blades that began to spin like saws in rapid momentum toward Hisoka, ready to rain steel upon his location.

This is an ultimate taijutsu technique created by the legendary taijutsu master Chen. It appears to be initiated by an upward spin kick at which point it quickly becomes like tornado. Forming into a dragon with long whiskers, it attacks the target aiming to swallow them, at which point they are cut by the razor sharp air currents inside the attack. After initiating the attack, the user appears to remain shielded within the base of the tornado as the outward surface of the dragon seems to be solid enough for a person to impact and rebound off of, making the only way to enter the technique once it has been initiated is by being swallowed. However, there is one distinct weakness to the technique. Since the Dragon God's real form (and what it basically is) is that of an ordinary tornado, though cosmetically shaped into a dragon, its attack power is based on rotation. If one enters the attack's centre (Dragon's Eye) while rotating at high speed, such as Lee's One-Man Front Lotus, it can be dispersed without inflicting damage. The technique, while seemingly similar to Wind Release, is actually just the users own physical power (through the use of the spinning kick) shaping the air into currents through movement. It is, however, enough to fight off elemental ninjutsu of the same rank and below.

As soon as Chise and Ruth witness the initial wind technique break through her reformed Kunai, Ruth quickly steps forward, taking the initiative to combat the weakened yet remaining wind technique as it continued to sore toward them. Without much restraint, Ruth quickly gathered his fire chakra into his lungs before exhaling it in the form of a large fireball that he then expels from his mouth, launching the bullet-like force toward the wind attack, resulting in an explosive dispersing collision between the two techniques.

Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.
Once that was taken care of, Chise watched as her opponent rapidly began to spin in place, generating a large raging gale of flowing force that began to morph into the likeness of a dragon. Granted it was considerably flashy and powerful in it's own right, Chise intended to take advantage of it's sole and decisive weakness. Conjuring up a sum of wood chakra throughout her body, Chise quickly manipulated it into the ground in front of her, conjuring forth the birth of several dense, whip-like roots to erupt from the earth, guided by her chakra infused within to follow straight into the gaping maw of the Dragon's mouth, working their way through it's windy form in an effort to strike bluntly at Hisoka's form at the center of the vortex's force.

Description: The user focuses and molds his chakra, using it to create Wood structures, Pillars, Trees, etc to defend, attack or support him. The Wood can be created from the users body or from earth sources and its limitations are only set by the users own imagination and the chakra put into the technique.
In a quick follow up, not wanting to leave too much to chance or leave her opponent the opportunity to continue with the offensive, Chise quickly expelled a gaseous stream of poison from her mouth, watching as it bellowed forward across the field and toward Hisoka, threatening to submerge him entirely in it's pluming path and render him with otherwise unpleasant symptoms as a consequence of mere bodily contact with the poison.

Description: A technique where the user breathes forth a pressurized stream of gaseous poison. The physical force of the poison itself has the potential to knock away small objects and can blow the opponent backward. When it hits against a body it flows through the opponent's pores or lungs if they breathe it in. The symptoms of the poison itself are slight paralysis of the extremities, hindering speed, and agility for two-turn by 3 ranks.
Hisoka senses goes off as the wood roots are coming through the eye of the storm he created with the dragon. The kid had skill to say the less. If he gets hit it will be dangerous. He puts his opponent in a genjutsu that would allow him to escape the wood technique. The dragon who disperse as the wood was coming at Hisoka. The illusion, his opponent would see and hear as if Hisoka got. In reality Hisoka has moved out the way and headed towards his opponent directly.

The user will produce an illusionary copy of himself while he escapes the path/area of the attack with a rapid movement, unnoticed and masked by the technique. The enemy will see and hear the user in the original place until the attack connects with the illusionary copy, at which point it will disperse, revealing the true location of the user. The technique can be controlled so as to have the illusionary copy interact and talk in specific ways with the enemy for other purposes, while the user remains hidden from the targets perception. The illusion is often personalized from user to user, namely in its dispersion, sometimes in relation to the users elemental affinity or summoning companions, following a theme unique to him. The limitation is that the user cannot escape large techniques with this ability nor incredibly fast ones, since the escape is his movement and, as such, is limited to small scaled attacks or normal paced ones. Only techniques which can be escaped by moving out of their way running or through movement can be defended from with this. The main limit however, is that, since its a sustainable illusion, triggering any offensive action towards the target will immediately release the illusion, be it a simple taijutsu move or a ninjutsu attack; any aggressive action the user wants to take will immediately break his focus and control over the technique, releasing the target from it. The stronger the user is with the usage of Genjutsu, the more effective and strong the illusion will be and more times can it be used.

Chise watched with uncertainty as the spiraling dragon seemed undisturbed in the timeframe that she had anticipated it should have been. They made no particular effort to avoid the attack, nor to counter it, and neither did the wood technique disperse or get destroyed as a consequence of a counter. Something was amiss.. Through this simple deduction, Chise suspected that some illusionary tactic was at play, so whatever she would see at the moment was likely to be misleading. Looking downward, Chise noticed the beginnings of the reshaping of the earth beneath her, working in an attempt to coil at her feet and likely even further if left unchecked. Quickly, she charged a sum of lightning chakra into her right hand before dropping it into the ground directly in front of her, discharging the chakra through the earth in a rippling of sparks and electrical energy in a 5 meter radius around her that quickly dispersed the chakra manipulating the earth beneath her, shattering what stone had been malformed, freeing her and Ruth completely.

Description: The user will manipulate their lightning chakra in their dominant hand generating electrical bolts of lightning around their forearm. The user will then slam their palm onto the ground causing the electrical energy to become discharged sending out bolts of lightning into the ground and around them up to 5 meters.
Looking up, Chise now noticed a moving target in the distance. It was Hisoka, and lightly the real one now that the mimic that had been left in his place to distract from his next move had disappeared from sight. She and Ruth both moved to charge toward him, Ruth moving off toward the left opposite of Chise directed right as they moved in a pincer arrangement, looking to close the gap on Hisoka from either of his flanks. She watched as he began to form a series of hand seals, of which Chise did the same in kind, but rather than hand seals, she was quicker to the pull with a simple gesture of her hand outstretched above her head that, after guiding a steady flow of chakra into her palm, formed a protective barrier of wind that took on the shape and replication of a large Spartan shield. Once formed, the lightning that would strike from the sky above her would instead collide into the wind shield, the electrical force being not only stunted in it's effort to strike Chise beneath the shield, but was instead repelled and redirected back at Hisoka in a horizontal strike across the field toward him, threatening to strike him with his own technique at it's full power.

Description: A self-proclaimed invincible barrier; using hand gestures, the user is able to create a protective barrier of wind capable of repelling any incoming attack they perceive, back on the original user with equal force. This technique can be used in conjunction with shadow rope technique or other restrictive techniques to further hinder the target. Once caught inside it, the target cannot mold chakra above S-rank and the barrier itself can only be broken by B-Rank techniques or by attacking the user of the technique.[/spoiler]

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and generates a special barrier that surrounds the target forming a "cuboid" construct of pink chakra which begins draining the chakra of the target caught inside. This technique can be used in conjunction with shadow rope technique or other restrictive techniques to further hinder the target. Once caught inside it, the target cannot mold chakra above S-rank and the barrier itself can only be broken by B-Rank techniques or by attacking the user of the technique.[/spoiler]
Chise watched as the lightning that she had reflected against the man was repelled with a protective barrier. Consequentially, a quick follow up had taken place as a strange field had formed around her form; she suspected it was intent on obstructing her in some way that wasn't meant to harm her specifically. She immediately began to feel the pull on her chakra reserves, hinting at the field's true intent. Chise heard the "lesson" spoken by Hisoka, of which she simply narrowed her gaze upon him intently. "A good lesson to teach, I appreciate it. But you should consider it as well..." While Chise had been restricted by the barrier erected around her while she was previously moving along the right of Hisoka's flank, one other had moved opposite of her, from his left flank: Ruth. The hound continued, completely unhindered by any efforts of Hisoka to restrict the canine's movements as well. As a consequence, the hound closed the gap on the man with haste as Ruth quickly began to expel his fire chakra into a 5-meter radius ring around that of Hisoka, of which upon doing so, he immediately applied a pressure of heat against the chakra to cause a spontaneous eruption of flame that ignited into a ring of fire that threatened to burn Hisoka at it's center.

Description: The user forms 3 handseals and molds fire natured chakra around his target. Causing the fire chakra to manifest as a ring of harmless fire, the user is capable of simultaneously applying pressure and heat inside the sphere for generate an explosion quickly. This explosion covers a short range radius and forms a 5 meter ring around the user with him in the center.
With the inevitable disruption that this technique would cause to Hisoka's concentration to maintain the barrier he had formed against Chise, either by harming him or forcing him to counter in some way, Chise watched as the barrier deconstructed itself from around her, allowing for her to freely conjure her own chakra beyond the limiting grade the barrier had forced upon her previously. Manifesting her chakra, Chise rapidly poured her wood chakra into the earth in front of her, encouraging it forward to wrap around behind Hisoka's position before several dense, intertwining roots of wood would erupt from the ground, all equally distanced apart by roughly one meter, sprouting skyward before moving to converge toward the common center that was Hisoka. As the roots began their descent, they each would split apart into several smaller branches from the one larger base, now creating a dense volley of blunted wooden pillars that were arcing over the backside of the fire ring that had been erected around Hisoka, now aimed to strike him into the ground.
At the exact same time that Chise had begun to conjure the wooden pillars from behind Hisoka, Ruth took it upon himself to conjure his earthen chakra as well, concentrating it directly beneath Hisoka before quickly manipulating the stone to rise up and around his feet, ankles and legs, binding his movement and hindering his capacity to so easily move out of harm's way.

Chise watched as the fire dispersed into a blast of steam that obstructed immediate visibility between herself and her target. Though this was less than ideal, she suspected this worked both ways, at the very least, and would force him to come out of the steam first before traveling the rest of the way to meet her for an attack. In anticipation, Chise quickly began to conjure water chakra throughout her system, preparing it for when she had finally seen a Kunai launch outside of the haze, only for the man to abruptly appear in it's place. Suddenly, he threw yet another tagged Kunai skyward and reappeared at it's position as well. She sensed a pattern here.. As soon as she watched the Kunai tossed past her position, she knew the position he was next to arrive in. In the split instant between tossing the kunai and his attempt to reappear in it's place as he had done thus far, Chise quickly expelled her water chakra from her mouth, kneading it into a large torrent of water that quickly whipped around her form and took the shape of a considerable barricade within mere seconds, of which obstructed the oncoming spiraling wind attack of Hisoka's double Rasengan. The water barricade erupted against the colliding force, yet it was barely enough to contain the full force of the strike, only stunting it's force.

Description: A defensive technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into water, and then expelled from the mouth in a dense torrent, effectively creating a near instantaneous barricade that can be used to intercept incoming attacks.
In quick follow up retaliation, Chise whipped around in one swift motion, lifting a hand to her side as she carried it with the turning momentum of her pivoting motion, abruptly slapping one hand of Hisoka's and diverting it into the other hand, derailing the direction of the weakened state of his attack and narrowly avoiding it's impact. "Didn't anyone tell you it's rude to sneak up on someone?!" Chise huffed sharply before, with something of an irritated expression, Chise had moved to raise a leg in an effort to deliver a simple yet intense kick into Hisoka's shins, as though she were retaliating more toward her flustered disposition for him showing up behind her so abruptly as he did, rather than trying to deliver it as a means to fight him properly.

Chise watched as Hisoka had abruptly disappeared from sight; something that he was becoming rather predictable for. Given the repetition of the same tactics that he had attempted thus far, accompanied by the distinct threat Chise would naturally feel creep along the back of her neck in an instinctive reaction, Chise would whip her head around just in time to witness Hisoka's reappearance, confirming her suspicions. In rapid succession Chise had quickly formed a single hand seal before exerting a large sum of water chakra from her system, resulting in an abrupt and near instantaneous formation of water forming around her as if by the whim of her own will. Upon it's creation, the water strangely took on the shape of a massive hand, of which had formed in the nick of time to intercept the man's kick, causing a large blast of water around the point of collision.
In the same exact timeframe, before Hisoka had the opportunity to engage his genjutsu, Ruth had begun his return effort sprinting toward Chise and Hisoka's position. As he did, the hound proceeded to conjure a sum of his earthen chakra before exerting it forward to manipulate the earth on either side of Hisoka's position, causing the earth to abruptly rupture upward from both directions, shaking the very ground beneath his feet as it formed into the likeness of a gaping maw of stone that rapidly moved to clench inward like a proper chomping jaw, risking to pin him aggressively in the middle as if being devoured by the earth, aimed to derail his effort to utilize his genjutsu and direct his attention to having to protect against the devouring earth.

Description: After performing the Dragon → Tiger handseals, this technique will summon a large amount of water near the user that will then be used to strike at the opponent in several versatile ways. Shizuku has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack though the user can shape it in any way he needs for his intended purpose. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent and as long as the user fuels it and the technique isn't fully negated, the Tiger handseal can be sustained and the water manipulated and used. The technique can also be used from nearby water sources, including low rank water techniques, for the same effect. Due to the immense control needed, the technique is considered a highly advanced use of water release, requiring the user to possess a primary water specialty to use.

Description: The user performs the Ram → Horse → Tiger → Rabbit → Snake and slams their palm on the ground. Instantly, the ground to the sides of the opponent take the shape of huge jaws and attempt to crush and stab him between them. The size of the jaws can be adjusted to fit the size of the opponent or other uses.
Once Chise witnessed the rise of the earth and proceed to try and clamp around Hisoka, she would take advantage of the close range she still shared with Hisoka to quickly gather a generous amount of chakra into her mouth before clapping her hands firmly together, then expelling it in a steady exhale that would take the form of a large, bellowing plume of a yellow gaseous fog that would quickly overtake his position if he were to take the time to properly interject the efforts of the Devouring Earth technique, leaving him at the mercy of the poisonous substance to take root on his nervous system and result in a rather generous, albeit quite unpleasant, helping of spasmatic muscles and joints.
After having finished the use of the poison technique, Chise let out a faint sigh as she felt a sweat begin to bead along her brow. She could hardly see Hisoka through the yellow fog, yet she suspected he was hardly beaten by it, assuming he was even actually caught in it the way she had attempted to unfold. With the assumption that he was still very much unharmed, she opted to try and converse a moment. "Uhm.. what do you say we consider packing it in? Though I'm very grateful for this instructive opportunity, we should probably head back to Tobusekai and finish up some more missions." She called out into the air, hoping to reach Hisoka before he'd make another retaliatory attack. She knew he was from the same village as her, and she could recall having seen him in the Last Bastion as well, so no doubt he was of the same mind as she, at least when it came to knowing of the threat forming in that region.

Description: The user claps their hands, while inhaling, and releases out a pressurized yellow fog from their mouth which is strong enough to stop projectiles and techniques within reason. This creates a special gaseous poison, which is a nerve agent designed to affect the motor nerves and muscles. This is achieved by altering the user's own saliva and respiratory secretions and giving it the needed qualities. As the gaseous poison touches the pores of an opponent that particular area of the body will begin to experience random and severe muscle spasms. The spams progress and make it rather hard to perform handseals, use projectiles, and taijutsu falters, equating to the inability to use more than 4 handseals on the first turn, 3 on the second turn, and 1 on the third as well as a temporary reduction to taijutsu damage reducing 20 damage. After that, the effect wears off instantly and the target regains control over their musculatory system.
Hisoka kick is completely blocked by a barrier of water. The water was hard to break through. Earth nature was sense around him which would start to grow from the ground. He looked around and was existed again. He channeled his earth nature and dug in the ground escaping the earth technique. This would allow him to dig through the ground via fine sand. He comes up mid range from his last location and would be standing behind the jaws of the earth technique.
The yellow fog would be around the earth jaws and inside. Hisoka hears what the young shinobi says. He stretches his arms out and yawns.
I guess you are right. Lets head back home. This was fun.
(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding Like A Mole Technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.
