Chunnin Exams

Is there any establish someone in the new generation rewarded directly to jounin after Chunnin exams? As before Neji, Kakashi and Itachi is some case for this.

Boruto contribute a lot when Konoha under attack and widely recognize by every nation and kages after lend his hand against Otsutsuki. As well praised in his academically performance as genius ninja. Does this qualified him to directly jounin like in the other case before?

Ermm...maybe? But nah, i dont think so, he doesnt seem to be the natural genius type, btw itachi was teleported to ANBU leader level before he even became jounin, an extremely special case. The only thing he passed was academy and then ANBU leader.

Boruto while talented doesn't have the abilities considered to be of Jounin rank.

Yeah, no. You don't get promoted for using cheat cartridge, if anything it's likely those who didn't cheat and made it to the finals that will be promoted.

He has to show not only talent on par with neji on minimum to attain jounin rank.
