Hyuga could control chakura and make chakura base useless. One attack vaccum or 1 finger jutsu which make Ketsuryugan noneffective. Byakugan with that genjutsu immune tho.

Ketsuryugan is actually a diluted version of the Sharingan in my opinion, as it has almost the same scary and effective techs of 3 tomoe sharingan. I wonder how many decades it took for it to transform in Ketsuryugan (if it really is SO6P descendent).

Sasuke didn't even try against them, he's using mangekyo techniques to overwhelm them. But do you know their rival though?

Short range doesn't sound intimidating. The only time we saw that used he had to actually hit the opponent first with bare hands. Doesn't seem like that'll be a possibility.

I mean if there is a bunch of these exploding humans he could just finish them all by one blow , besides closing their chakra will prevent them from explode , and as you can see , Neji is not Hinata , he will not faint every time he deliver a blow he is more like
