He carries Kurama's essence in him due to the whiskers, has a ****ing Kekkei Genkai in his right eye, and is a blood relative of the Hyuga Clan, and his clan is still alive! He's a damn prodigy who's adept in three elements and has a clan of shinobi to learn from.

Sasuke lost his whole family and lived in the same house that they died in.

Naruto didn't even have a family and everyone hated him despite the fact that he was keeping them safe from the Nine-tails.

Kakashi lost everyone only to find out his only good friend survived and ruined the world.

Obito's only loved one got killed by someone he trusted and his own relatives schemes, and he was manipulated into wreaking havoc upon the world.

I haven't heard anything of the sort from a few Japanese friends I was in contact with. Could be true, though. However, it might just be a mild annoyance as Sasuke behaves like an ideal son in regards to their social concept of good and evil.
