Better brother,Itachi or Madara

Madara all the way. He loved his Clan / people and his brother. Itachi caused Sasuke nothing but secured his survival and life and slaughtered his clan over the fact that they planned to assassinate the leaders, take power and cause the death over many more times of other innocent civilians and destruction of village. He was nothing but a hero one fullof heart and justice. He's one of the bestgovernmental shinobiin the manga, and one of the bestpeople - a cruel, cold, and a devious man.

All madara wanted was to protect izuna, and He wants his death not to go to waste, and to honour the deaths of his fellow uchihas.

Itachi made sasuke into a criminal, made him carry all of the uchiha hatred, while turning himself into a criminal aswell.

must've happened in the anime because izuna never even spoke in the manga, them fillers dont count. after the wars madara wanted his clan to re-fight the senju. had they listened uchiha would be near extinct

Hell, even in the flashbacks, Itachi never had time to spend with Sasuke. People constantly told Sasuke they he didn't know the real Itachi. Itachi was more of a stranger than family, so how can you call him a better brother? gfto

They were at war with senju. Madara's resolve for protecting his brothers never wavered in spite of that.

Yes well, Izuna didn't exactly want to be peaceful with the senju either, so Madara was following his wishes. Besides as a human being, I would rather be killed quickly than tortured into completely insanity.(and madara didn't kill his brother anyway)
