I know this looks silly to guys who are up to latest episodes of OP,but I just watched 95 episode of it,when Ace appeares and destroyes those Baroque Work's ships for Luffy's crew,so so so awesome. He is curently my favorite!

That was so epic!


I read a spoiler before I started watching OP,that he dies,that's a pitty but I hope that he has some more epic moments untill the end!

I wish we saw more of him before the capture,tbh I didnt have that much of a connection to the character and his death mostly saddend me because of Luffy.Maybe if he was a bit more present in the story before the death,not after it.

Meh...Ace was a likable guy and strong to a degree, but only has a few "epic moments"

He's more if a plot advancement device than say a character who'll be consistently progressing/advancing. But still, he's had more relevant scenes than the next Nakama (from where you are) <(-_-<).Which is simply lame.

Yeah he is epic.


Just an fyi, part of the manga canon gets skewed after he lands on Luffy's ship and fists the other ships. They did this so there could be more Ace time with Luffy and extend the anime a bit to let the manga get ahead(aka some fillers ahead). Basically Ace give him the paper Luffy that piece of paper then leaves and blows up the ships instead of going 5 or 6 episodes and then giving him the paper.

Just read ch 159 to not get too confused.

Ace was my favorite until I came across Law. I still like Ace as much as I always did though, he's just my 2nd fav in OP now. The guy is a badass, inside and out. And his pride, I love how prideful Ace was. He's a man's man. That's all there is to it.
