Alright, still, how'd he (Asuma) trounce who physically outdid Tsunade, even drawing praise from her in the art of evasive combat, and do keep in mind that Tsunade is literally unrivaled in that facet of battle as exemplified by her own words.

Asuma is physically slower than Kabuto who possesses amplified chakra scalpels that exudes lethally significant damage that could likely trounce him in CQC range especially applying the fact that he lacks the speed features to indefinitely avoid him, and his associated tools, not just that, we've the fact that Kabuto possesses Nirvana Temple illusion manifestations that emits a feather like pearly white realm that subsequently persuades him to lower his guard that likely disarms him of any defensive strategical capabilities that he has under his belt, then he either flickers and bisects his throat or drills a chakra scalpel on his heart.
Can you confirm Asuma is slower?
The reach of his wind blades also means Kabuto would have to be much faster to win a hand to hand fight.

That Kabuto was credited to being on kakashi’s level. So based on hype, Kabuto wins. However, feat makes it hard to say. Kabuto was swift and smart, along with his genjutsu arsenal. Asuma Has superior strength but that’s all.
