Great chapter, one of the longest theories has finally been confirmed to be right. Dr. Tsubasa is AFO doctor. Now that doesn't confirm that Deku had a Quirk stolen from him, but I think it makes it extremely likely that he did.

At very least it confirms that the Flying Nomu that Stain killed was mostly likely the Doctors Grandson, the one we saw gang up with little Bakugo to fight Deku. Which is very dark stuff, that he would do something like that to his own Grandson.

Also there was also the theory that the Teleportation Sludge stuff wasn't a AFO Quirk, but the Doctors Quirk, and that seems to have been confirmed as well.

Now once we learned that Deku had access to 6 other Quirks, which would bring his total of Quirks he could potentially use up to 8, (The brothers Quirk, Stockpile, and the 6 others = 8). I thought Horikoshi being such a big fan of Naruto that maybe Deku would ultimately have access to 9 Quirks, a nod to the 9Tails. And I could see this happening.

Now a big thing about the Doctor and the fact that AFO most likely uses that as opportunity to steal Quirks, and if Deku had a Quirk stolen? Then that either means Deku Quirk wasn't a Physically seeing Quirk like making Fire, or AFO can somehow tell what a persons Quirk is just by looking at them?

Either way very interesting stuff.

Honestly I find the League of Villains a joke and Shigaraki a charismaless puppet who was solely chosen based on being related to a previous wielder of OFA and whose sole purpose was to mess with All Might's head. Outside that I can't see any redeeming feature.

This chapter shows once more that in the end it's AFO who has been doing everything.

Other then Shigaraki I enjoy most of the other people in the League. Shigaraki just isn't a good leader of Villains, especially whenever we've seen someone like AFO who is so interesting and extremely smart.

But basically Shigaraki's arc is supposed to be is that he is also growing like our Academy Students. So he isn't supposed to be awesome yet.

I feel like he picked Shigaraki to basically buy time/distract until his actually plan comes together. Whatever that is?

That's what I thought of lol.

That still doesn't take away he's underwhelming. Outside him being able to mess with All Might's head, which is purely because of his grandmother, I can't remember him doing anything that proves he's even remotely suitable for the role he's supposed to play.

The only one of his subordinates I find truly menacing and fitting of a threat they are supposed to pose, is Dabi. Some of the others might be fun characters on itself, but in the end anything dreadful connected to them was the result of AFO.

Honestly Shigaraki reminds me of Sasuke in the sense that all his major power-ups were given to him. The difference being that Sasuke showed he was strong, charismatic and talented either way. He was simply so driven by revenge he wanted to amass power fast and at any cost. In comparison Shigaraki feels like a mediocre scrub.
