¤ Kumi Shops and Plugins ¤

As many of you have noticed, on the site there is now something under your Profile Picture as a number and an icon of money beside it called "Kumi. Many of you are already aware of what Kumi is, but for some it's a surprise so let me recap briefly: Kumi is the currency of the Animebase RP systems, used to purchase abilities, bios, and more across the RP. This currency is gained when you battle, complete missions, trade/buy items from other RPers, and even when you make posts within the Naruto RP section.

With a new plugin for the forum, we are able to actually track it easier as it becomes a plugin requiring only a few clicks to track and add/subtract from accounts. This allows us to keep closer tabs on things and even makes it easier to host games and events for it. Your Kumi can be found under your profile picture or in your Wallet, which can be found here or by clicking the arrow beside the "shop" button at the top right of your page, to the left of your profile picture.

With this plugin now set up, it also allowed us to the ability to obtain another plugin to actually spend Kumi on. While the Kumi system worked by a thread in the past, it now is set up with a Kumi shop, allowing us to add more than just Canon Abilities. Soon to be added over time are more Unique Specialties, Pokemon, Badges, Special Bios, and more rare things for limited times only. This also allows for us to add Custom Shops for members to sell their own Customs from. The Official Kumi Shop can be found here or hy clicking the Shop button on the Navbar by your profile picture in the top right of the page.


¤ Boosting Rules ¤

In the Past, Damage Boosting Rules were made so that you could only use 1 Passive Boost and 1 Active boost at any time. You could also not boost any Jutsu if you forced a Debuff to the opponent. This has changed slightly now: You can have up to 2 Boosts applied at any time (Active and Passive, 2 Active or 2 Passive Boosts) and you can only have 1 Damage Boost of any kind added when you Debuff an opponent by any level.

Example:​
• Leg Weights (Active Boost) and Sage Mode being activated (Active Boost)​
• Cali Swordsmen Swords (passive) and Curse Mark (Active)​

You can have One Specialty Speed Boost and One Jutsu Speed Boost applied at any time. Specialty Speed boosts refer to speed boosts granted from a Specialty (Primary, Apex or CFS related ones) and Jutsu Speed Boosts are any that come from a Jutsu, Mode, or Artifact. Its named due to the fact that all of these are in Jutsu form.



¤ Merchant Rules ¤

Another addition to our rules are Merchants. While the RP is still heavily battle oriented, we cannot deny the possibility to RP without wanting to battle or be a Sensei. As expansive as the Naruto world is, this should be possible and because of this, we decided to create special rules for people who wish to sell items and run Custom shops in the NW. They are able to create items and weapons of their own design and use this Kuki to obtain better items/village defenses for their village/etc. More information can be found in the link above.



¤ Villages and Akatsuki ¤

Some larger news updates to the RP and Ninja World, Villages have made a return! Opting for more custom villages this time, the Ninja World has been slightly altered to allow for villages to return. These Villages are Tanigakure ( led by Vex ), Shimogakure ( led by Zatanna ), Tsumigakure ( led by Howard ), and Taiyogakure ( led by Scaze ). More can be read about them in the link above.

In addition to this, Akatsuki had also made a return! With a similar membership system as before, only 10 members can be part of the team at any time and be warned: these members are high ranking and powerful to fend off the sure-to-be constant threats against them. This time around, Rings arent what signifies membership; its unique weapons known as Relic Weapons. More about both can be found in the link above.



With all of these changes in place, it is recommended as always to read the rules linked to familiarize yourself with them and to be on the lookout for more news regarding upcoming events soon, such as the Chunin Exams and trivia game opportunities. That said, have fun until then!

¤ Ninja World Arc 5 ¤

Arc 5 in the Ninja World has begun with this post, bringing an end to the transition period. Arc 5 will last from November 27th to December 27th, which will mark another transition period lasting from December 27th to January 3rd. Arc 5 ushers in the return of villages after Conqueror's End. They are Tanigakure, Shimogakure, Tsumigakure, and Taiyogakure. If you wish to join these villages, contact on of the kage or their officials to meet in the Ninja World. It's time to get out there and begin issuing Village Missions! Be on the lookout for Rogue Ninja Bounties as well for Rogue Ninja and Clan members.

Aside from Arc 5, a big shout out to @Jas ! He has been immensely helpful in not only creating an official shop for the NRP, but also a map for the Ninja World! The map, found here, is interactive and hyperlinked. This means that each landmark that you can currently visit, barring most in Tobusekai (aside from Witchwood Arena), can be opened through the map by simply clicking on each one. Jas went even as far as to mark each village's current borders, as well as clans. Taiyogakure is marked in red in the South, Tanigakure is marked in light blue in the Land of Fire, Tsumigakure is marked in pink in the North, with Shimogakure marked in grey near it.

Aside from this, there have been certain clarifications made in the Ninja World Rules pertaining to travel and move usage. These were established rules before, but are being written down to be set in stone and made clear.

¤ Specialty Updates ¤

First and foremost, happy new year! We hope it's one filled with good memories and fun! After talking to some of our Sensei, we noticed that many of the AN and Universal Skills had mo specialties- in fact, all except Yin-Yang didn't have one. In order to fix this, we changed how the Extra Specialty slot was set up, increasing the available options for your bio to utilize they can be located in the link here.


¤ Pre-used Jutsu ¤
In addition to this, there is an update in regards to battles in the RP, both Battle Arena and Ninja World in relation to pre-set jutsu and items that are activated before a fight or come into play before a fight. In regards to the Battle Arena, all passives, summons, Edo, seals, etc. are to be posted within the same post that one posts their bio to take effect in the battle unless stated in the bio, such as personal summons and body seals, and must be specified as being pre-set for battle. In regards to the Ninja World, all jutsu or items previously mentioned as well as ones brought into play during travel must be posted at the start of the fight to play a factor in the fight itself. If present within the bio, they must be mentioned and acknowledged at the start of the battle. More Updates are planned as time goes by. Until then, have fun!

¤ Timeframe Update ¤

The second is slight update to timeframe rules. In order for a person's jutsu to be considered interrupted, the opponent must actually interrupt the used sequence of jutsu upon changing the timeframe by using their own techniques, such as forcing the original poster to change the aim, trajectory, speed, etc. of their own move. For instance: Person A activates Chakra Sensory and then uses Powerful Blasting Rain Trench to create a wave that they ride towards the opponent. The timeframe is established as Chakra Sensory>Rain Trench. Person B responds by causing a lightning bolt to strike from the sky to the spot the opponent stood on when they activated sensory, prior to their usage of Rain Trench, changing the timeframe to Chakra Sensory>Lightning>Rain Trench.

Previously, this would require the original user to repost the Rain Trench technique before proceeding with their move. With this update, if Person B's reply does not make it a requirement for Person A's move to be changed in some way, such as changing aim, trajectory, or jutsu used, Person A's move will proceed as described. Of course, should this be in dispute at any time within a fight, it will be checked as all other issues are.

¤ Poison Updates ¤

Moving forward, all custom poisons must abide by the following rules:

There are now two types of poisons that are allowed to be submitted. A lingering poison, and a basic poison. Like the name implies, a lingering poison will have smaller effects, but its effects will not fade until the opponent is KO'd or Killed. However, to compensate for their long duration, their effects and the damage that they cause will be far less than those of a basic poison. Basic Poisons on the other hand will have a limited duration limit of 5-6 turns depending on the other effects. However, to compensate for the shorter duration limit, Basic Poisons will have stronger base effects than lingering poisons. Additionally, poison stages will no longer exist for basic poisons, the full effects of the poison will kick in a turn after the poison is ingested. Please don't write a scientific thesis on each ingredient, on how they interact chemically to cause the effects specified in the poison. Poisons will last for a maximum of six turns, with a specialty in poison allowing them to last an extra two turns (basically making it so that the opponent experiences the effects of the last/most damaging stage of the poison for an additional two turns if exposed to it). As a baseline, lingering poisons will be able to do a maximum of 10 damage per turn, whereas basic poisons will be able to do a maximum of 20 damage per turn. Obviously, these would scale down, depending on the other effects added to the poison. These changes are retroactive, meaning that any currently approved poisons need to be updated in order to reflect these changes. Currently pending poisons are considered declined, and must be resubmitted to reflect the new changes. Additionally, I'm going to use this opportunity to clarify trading in regards to custom poisons. It is possible to, in the NW, give your friend or ally a sample of your custom poison to coat their weapons or whatever with. However, this type of transaction will last for the duration of the arc that it happens in only. Outside of that, it is not allowed to teach others your poisons, or for others to have your poisons in their CJ threads.

¤ Kumi Shop Updates ¤

In addition to the above updates, the Kumi Shop items have had small adjustments for simplicity. S and Forbidden Ranked Fuuinjutsu have been merged with Advanced Fuuinjutsu to form just one item (Advanced Fuuinjutsu). The properties and abilities of both are now found in this one item and Submission or learning of Advanced Fuuinjutsu requires one to have the item within their Inventory to obtain. Custom Kinjutsu has also been reduced in price to 5,000 Kumi for every 2 Custom Kinjutsu you submit, counting towards your normal CJ limit. Advanced NB Taijutsu has also been lowered in price as well. Recently added items to the RP will soon be added to the Kumi shop as well.

¤ Tag Battle Rules ¤

A long overdue update, tag battle rules will now be allow for a different set up than before: For every addition person above 3 members on one side in a battle, the user will gain 1 additional move per turn to battle with. This means if there is a 4 vs 2 fight in progress, the side with 4 members will be allocated 4 Jutsu per turn to use. This update is done to allow those with more members on one side to be more beneficial than a hindrance as possible now. This update does not apply to a Ninja with 3 Summonings or 3 Puppets out, for example, but 3 actual Ninja or Clones is acceptable. With this system, there is now no cap on how many people can be in one battle at any given time.

¤ Bio and Health Updates ¤

A few new Bio Rules have been added to the Roleplay recently. These are the Mysterious Peacock Method and the Gift of the Hermit Group. These Bio rules can be found by clicking their respective names. In addition to this, several abilities and Jutsu that have healing properties have been edited slightly to scale them according with the health system. With Touch of the Sun healing 150 at the top (excluding the Juubi Jin healing abilities) and Sage Mode passively healing 10 damage per turn at the bottom, every other canon ability falls within this range and has been updated to reflect it. Lastly, Onoki bios have been edited to include his recently shown ability to use Lava Release in it's quicklike variant and Clay Release has been updated to allow for Custom bios with the ability to exist.

As always, we will continue to work on making the RP as enjoyable for everyone as possible. New Moderators will be announced within the week, originally planned for the weekend but extended now. Until then, enjoy!

¤ Ninja World Arc 7 ¤
Season of the Rose and the 147th Witchwood Doubles Championship

Arc 7 is set to begin on February 10th and last until April 10th. This arc is set to continue the Mysterious Man saga and the bounties that he issued, as well as the Season of the Rose. The Season of the Rose is a Ninja World wide holiday celebration in honor of Valentine's Day and the Red Fever that gripped the world in the year 660. For this arc, the Witchwood Company is hosting their 147th Doubles Championship. This event combines their King of the Hill style win streaks with new battle types and rules! More information can be found here. Win battles in the arena to build your win streak. At the end of the arc, the team with the longest win streak is declared the winner! The items you can win are extremely powerful and unique artifacts that are exempt from certain bio rules. For those who don't want to play in the gruesome Witchwood Arena, you can participate in the Doubles Missions. All information can be found in the stickied thread in Ninja World Events. See you at the Arena!

¤ Kumi Shop Updates ¤

Legendary Contracts are now active in the Shop and as such, can be purchased for 10K Kumi. Rules can be found for them here, provided by Pekoms. Be sure to remember that any existing contract cannot be replicated as a Legendary contract, whether the holder is inactive or not.

¤ Bio and Health Updates ¤

A new Bio Rule has been added to the Roleplay recently and an existing one had some shifting of abilities made. The Ketsuryugan, or the Blood Dragon Eye as it is known, has been added to the RP and cost quite a bit, being of comparable strength to the Mangekyou Sharingan. In addition to this, the Jashinist ability has had it's abilities updated from a Kekkei Genkai into an Advanced Ninjutsu. This now allows it to be combined with other KG/AE/HA for added customization. More can be found in the link provided here.
Alongside this, a few new Extra Specialties were added, including those for YY related fields and 3 others. The Yin-Yang related one take the place of previously mastered fields. These can be found in the link here.

Health Rules received a small update in regards to Spiritual damage, which was treated the same as physical damage in the past. Now, taking Spiritual damage will have it's own set on inherent drawbacks depending on the amount taken. These can be found in this thread, effective immediately. In addition to this, several other smaller Jutsu received updates and edits, soon to be edited into this post and later this respective threads for everyone to locate easier.

¤ Ninja World Updates ¤

There is a clarification on the use of Edo Tensei in the Battle Arena and the Ninja World and how this impacts the use of Edo Tensei'd biographies in the NW. There have been questions about the use of Edo Tensei in the Battle Arena and how that impacts someone's biography in the Ninja World. For instance, if I use my Hamura biography in the BA and it is killed, and subsequently has its DNA taken for Edo Tensei, would I be unable to use that biography in the Ninja World anymore when my opponent uses it as their Edo Tensei? In order to prevent these consistency clashes, and have captured biographies still be usable in the Ninja World, we are allowing people to skin their Edo Tensei's as a new character that is distinct from the captured victim's. This prevents any consistency clashes between BA and NW and allows the victim to keep their bio, while the victor can use their new Edo Tensei in the Ninja World.

¤ Ninja World Updates ¤

Thanks to Howard's hard work a criteria and guide has been created for Ninja World Storyboard Missions. The guide can be found here. Use the guide to gain a better understanding of our expectations in NW missions, most notably the level of detail that should go into each rank as the difficulty increases.

In other NW news, the one year anniversary of the Ninja World is coming up in April. The Ninja World Storyboard guide/criteria is the first of a few releases that are coming for this occasion. Over the next month as Arc 8 approaches the entire Ninja World Rules thread is going to be revised and updated. This is an effort to keep things fresh and updated after an entire year has passed. Arc 8 will also be bringing Tobusekai, or the Eastern Continent, to the roleplay.

¤ Ketsuryūgan, Kurama Clan, and Tag Battle Updates ¤

The Ketsuryūgan and the Kurama Clans have been integrated into the RP, allowing their abilities to finally be accessible to many. While the Kurama Clan is free to access, the Ketsuryūgan is a High Tier ability, requiring purchase to utilize.

Bio Specialties have been placed in their own thread now, allowing them to be easily found and referenced now.

Tag Rules have also been updated to clarify what allows extra moves per turn and how many. When it comes to Six Paths of Pein bios or Nagato bios (should he have Created Paths for the bio) wielders are able to use up to 6 moves per turn. Other Rinnegan Wielders, due to their more extensive move set, do not get this bonus. Edos of any kind do not count towards this extra move rule as well.

It has also been capped at the max amount of moves one side can have at specific ranks, regardless of the number of members on a team. Should the highest member on one team be Jounin or higher, the side can only have up to 5 moves per turn. Should the highest be Chunin, the max is 6 turns. Should the highest be Genin, the highest is 7 moves per turn, and if the highest is Academy, the max can be 9 per turn.

¤ New Canon Techniques and Updates ¤

In addition to Ketsuryūgan and Kurama Clan Techniques, a few new techniques have entered the RP and others have had their descriptions edited. Scientific Ninja Tools have been revamped and the whole of the list redone with new additions and some few KG techniques were redone. These techs can be found below and in the SNT thread.

( Suiton: Mizuhyō) - Water Release: Water Hail

Description: The user makes 1 handseal and then cups their hands together and stretches their arms outward at the target. They will then unleash a large barrage of water bullets. The bullets are very potent, able to effortlessly demolish large and sturdy trees.

( Doton: Tsuchi Kusari ) - Earth Release: Earth Shackles

Description: The user forms a handseal and condenses the nearby earth around a target, shifting it around their legs. This thereby immobolises and traps them.

(Mateki: Fuon) - Demonic Flute: Floating Sound
Type: Offensive

Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: Tayuya plays her flute and releases three sound-contained spheres at her opponent, which gravitates towards them and burst upon contact. These spheres are composed almost entirely of spiritual energy, so their existence and chakra are in an unstable state. Therefore, they crave physical energy, which they are keen on detecting. When striking foes, they can cause a reduction of 50 chakra and cause physical attacks to deal more damage when they land on opponents. Because of their nature, these techniques do not damage the opponent's body.

(Takerikuchinawa) - Ferocious Snake
Type: Offensive

Damage: 60
Description: Stretching both his arms, the user delivers a rapid fire barrage of punches to his opponent. These strikes are capable of reaching from mid range, allowing him to fight at a distance.
Note: This can only be used after first obtaining the Soften Body Modification surgery.

( Zesshi Nensan ) - Acid Slime
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: A highly concentrated acidic paste is suddenly released from the mouth. The acid boasts such high density and concentration that it is even capable of diluting stone, vaporising it. Because there are no prerequisite moves to do before this techniques' activation, Katsuyu can easily strike quickly, and catch an enemy off-guard with this attack.
Note: Can only be used by Slugs.

( Bakueki Hōsha ) - Exploding Mucus Shot
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user sprays yellow acidic paste on the ground, which can raise up to create a wall-like formation, capable of either damaging a target or providing effective coverage. This wall can raise roughly 10 meters in length and width.
Note: Can only be used by Slugs.

( Senpō: Inton Raiha ) - Sage Art: Yin Release Lightning Dispatch
Type: Offensive
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 80
Damage: 120
Description: The user forms a mirrored Ram handseal and combines Yin release with his Natural Energy, and then releases myriads of purple tangible lightning bolts from the palms of each of his hands to capture the target. These purple bolts are actual bolts of lightning, similar to Kirin.
Note: This can only be used by bios with access to Six Paths Senjutsu.

( Senpō: Ranton Kōga ) - Sage Art: Storm Release Light Fang
Type: Offensive
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short to Mid
Chakra: 80
Damage: 120
Description: The user infuses Storm Release with senjutsu chakra to fire a sharp, thin stream of light from their mouth. It is powerful enough to cut clean through a Truth-Seeking Ball.
Note: Can only be used by Juubi Jinchuriki Madara Uchiha bios.

( Yomotsu Hirasaka ) - Underworld Slope Hill
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 80
Damage: N/A
Description: The user is able to open rifts within the fabric of space which allows them to instantaneously transport themselves anywhere. Kaguya regularly used this technique to travel between her six dimensions. The openings can also be used to connect two different spatial locations within the same dimension or create a pathway that links two dimensions together. Similar to Kamui, Yomotsu Hirasaka allows the user to utilise these spacial tears to retreat, disorient enemies, ambush attacks, among many other possible tactics. These portals can be used to transport only sections of the user by partially entering them, and they can utilise this method to drag their opponents to another location.
Note: This can only be once every 4 turns, up to 6 times in total. The user can only travel to locations he has already traveled to or to Kaguya's Dimensions, unable to used this to go to places he has never been.
Note: Can only be used by Kaguya Otsutsuki bios.
( Yomotsu Hirasaka ) - Underworld Slope Hill

Similar to Kamui, Yomotsu Hirasaka allows the user to utilize these spacial tears to retreat, perform ambush attacks, and many other possible tactics. Unlike Kaguya's version, the user can only travel fully through these portals, unable to partially emerge through them. The user can also utilise this method to drag their opponents to another location with them.

This allows him the ability to use their absorbed chakra in the form of an Advanced Element or Kekkei Genkei for a set time.This usage causes minimum damage in order to obtain the chakra and as such, is unable to harm a foe directly. However, the user is capable of using the rod to create varying physical attacks to harm the opponent such as creating an array of rod like projectiles to attack with.

The user is capable of forming any shape that his imagination allows, as long as the size doesn't extend beyond short range ( 5 meters long/wide ). These tools are neutral to same ranked Elemental Ninjutsu attacks.

Once a person is sent to another dimension, their chakra cannot be sensed from the normal world through traditional means.
Note: Can only be used 4 times and twice per battle to change dimensions. After any use, Kaguya cannot utilize any of her dimension based abilities for 3 turns.
Note: In the Acid/Lava Dimension, Lava will inflict 60 damage initially and -15 every turn afterwards. In the Mountain Dimesion, Kaguya is able to reduce the cooldown period associated with her Doujutsu techniques by 1 turn. Note: The user can only use this once every 5 turns and up to 3 times in total per arc. These portals can remain open for up to 4 turns or until the user willingly closes them.
Note: When used, the user is able to enter any Dimension within the RP that he has already been to, including custom created ones. When traveling there, the user can create a sustained linked portal to enter and exit and up to 3 others can cross through this portal before it forcibly closes.

¤ Ninja World Rules: 1 Year Anniversary Revisions ¤

The Ninja World was introduced in its current state, known popularly as the Warring States Era, nearly one year ago in April of 2018. Since then we have gone through seven story arcs and have seen huge changes. I felt that the one year anniversary of the Ninja World was a good chance to revise its rules; a time where I could go through everything and see what needed updating, changed, or added to. Likewise, with Arc 8 coming (on April 17th) we will be seeing the introduction of Tobusekai and changes to villages. This post will contain a change log, and some commentary on the changes, to the rules so you don't have to go through the thread with a comb to see everything that has changed. The changes range from war rules, quoting rules, Arc/biography rules, and everything in between. Some of these changes, most notably to villages, will not go into effect until Arc 8 begins. But I wanted to give everyone a chance to see what is coming.

Arc 8 and Tobusekai will be coming on April 17th. The landmarks for Tobusekai will be posted before April 10th, and then opened for use on April 17th. See you then!

Maps: Added the interactive map to the list and created landmark classifications (Marketplaces, Sacred Sites, and Clan Sanctuaries).

War Rules: Adjusted the war rules by adding clarifications to what a skirmish is and official war. Adjusted the victory conditions for official village wars.

Adjusted/clarified rules for retreating, space/time, and general battle and timelimit.

Akatsuki: The Akatsuki is coming to a Ninja World (TM) near you. This updated rules thread for Akatsuki has added lore, including its relationship with the mysterious stranger in the Ninja World, the list of Relic Weapons and their seals, and a member's list.

Adjusted some of the information on Relic Weapons, their traits, and skill trees to better reflect what is going to be coming when they arrive.

Clans: Slightly reduced the time it takes for a Level Five clan to reach Village status (1 month reduction).

Villages: Added Colonial Income and Colonization.

Colonization is a change that is coming to Arc 8 and will be a feature exclusive to villages. This aspect of village conquest is about claiming landmarks in Tobusekai which will accrue Kumi per month. This Kumi income replaces the 50,000 Kumi/Ryo system from before. Kumi from Colonial Income can be used in three ways, listed in the village rules thread. This should add incentive for villages to structure village missions for their villagers given the added material bonus. Expect competition in Tobusekai between villages as there are only a limited number of landmarks available there!

Travel: added Travel Automation, a new means of travel suggested by Typhon. This allows users to travel long distances without posting every 45 minutes. Note there are restrictions attached to this and the rules should be adhered to.

Restricted space/time travel and transportation.

Ryo: Removed clan banks. This was a feature that was literally never used. Independent banks at marketplaces still exist for use, although I will be reviewing this in the future. Added Last Bastion to the list of Marketplaces and Independent Banks (to be released with Tobusekai landmarks).

Arcs: Clarified and revised arc rules. Adjustments made to how techniques and training carry over. Note that you can use techniques you learn in training at any point within the arc as long as they are not techniques that do not apply directly to your biography (i.e. body seals, this still requires a biography update in between the arcs).

Adjusted how dropping your biography in between arcs works. This will make it less punishing for people as long as you don't drop your biography during a story arc.

Health/Regeneration: Lowered chakra regeneration to 5% per day. Clarified the time of day used to note that regeneration takes place (12:00 AM EST).

Storyboard: Removed Factions. These will be reviewed and added back at a later date.

¤ Shadow Clone and Prestige Updates ¤
As it's been bought to our attention recently, the Genjutsu guide and rules have had some outdated information in regards to Shadow Clones that was shown to be wrong on several occasions. With that said, it has since been edited to note that Clones can in fact be placed under Genjutsu and suffer the same effects as a normal ninja if placed under one. This also means being able to suffer damage, though for a Clone this will cap at C rank damage before dispersing as that's the case normally.

Perhaps the bigger change in this group is the implementation of the Prestige System. This system, exclusive to those with the Sage Rank in the RP, allows Ninja more customization and alterations than before. This includes but isnt limited to a point system that allows some combinations previously banned and a unique ranking system.

¤ Canon Clans Updates ¤

Several Canon Clans have had their ability threads slightly updated to reflect changing metas and more information, aiming to make them both more useful as well as more accurate to their representation. These include the Inuzuka, Nara, and Hozuki Clans as well Jashinists. Each can be found in the corresponding link above.

¤ Doujutsu and New Clan Abilities Updates ¤

In addition to the above, several Doujutsu have been updated and even added. The Jutsu list for the Sharingan, Rinnegan, and for some of the Otsutsuki have been updated and changed. These include technique edits, additions and the thread layouts changing such as Susano'o edits.

In addition to this, several new Bio Rules have been added - from both the Boruto series as well as unique abilities found only in the Animebase Naruto RP. The first include two ninja from Boruto named Kawaki and Delta. Both require at minimum Chunin rank as well as 20,000 Kumi to obtain.

The second are two Custom abilities added to the RP, created by @Daemon and @Drackos, respectively. The Hyuga's Tenseigan is a Custom Doujutsu evolution available only to Hyuga bios while the Children of Tiamat evolves from a long running event in the NW revolving Tiamat herself. Both abilities require significant rank and Kumi, found in both linked threads above.

¤ Bijuu and Jūbi Updates ¤

The various Bijuu of the RP, from 1 to 10, have had edits ranging from small to large done to their rules and the amount of chakra they grant. The Ten-Tails rules can now be found in the same thread with the other Nine Tailed Beasts, found here. In addition to this, the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails has also had their rules and techniques updated as well as Kaguya and Urashiki.

Madara, Naruto and Obito have also been separated from the original Jubi Jinchuriki thread into their own respective threads, named Six Paths Madara, Six Paths Naruto and Six Paths Obito.

Redesigned to make sure proper scaling exists, several more Tier 5 and 4 bios will be altered in the coming days to scale them properly as well as adjust Specialties on said bios. Along with these techniques, other Bijuu Techniques have been edited, namely the Tailed Beast Bombs and its variants.

¤ Custom Updates ¤

A rare update, this is done for the sake of balance in the game and to avoid allowing Jutsu or combinations that could become too broken for most. This is aimed at Yin-Yang Techniques, and specifically Yin and Yang State based customs. Given the power of these techniques alone, we have decided to ban the possibility of creating customs that require this Mode to be active to use or utilizes abilities granted while in said modes. If customs exist for it currently, they are now considered Revoked and the Custom Slot reallocated to the user.

¤ New Canon Techniques and Updates ¤

In addition to Hyuga Tenseigan, and Children of Tiamat Techniques, a few new techniques have entered the RP and others have had their descriptions edited. Some KG techniques were redone and compiled here before being moved to their respective threads.

Description: Kāma is a seal bestowed by members of the Ōtsutsuki clan that takes the form of a four-point black diamond on the recipient's body, marking them as a "vessel" (器, Utsuwa) for the Ōtsutsuki chakra to possess and if successful a "perfect Ōtsutsuki" for the clan member. When activated, Kāma significantly enhances the user's physical abilities and jutsu's power as well as absorb enemy's attacks like ninjutsu and large-scale explosions. In its various forms, these abilities are shared across them, though amplified at higher levels as well as adding newer abilities depending on the user's mastery potential.
  • Level 1: The lowest level, this version simply creates black markings across the user's body, and increases their Ninjutsu and Taijutsu by +20. This level also allows the user to cause explosions of built up chakra and allows the user the ability to absorb any Ninjutsu regardless of rank up to 3 times.
  • Level 2: This level, containing the same markings as before but now stretching up the arm and adding a small horn, likewise allows the user to increase their physical attacks and Ninjutsu by +20. Their Kāma now allows the user the ability to absorb any Ninjutsu regardless of rank up to 4 times and the use of Kāma Rift.
  • Level 3: The highest level of the Kāma seal, the user's markings cover his entire and spreads across his face and body in nearly symmetrical sunburst patterns. This version. greatly increase his reactions and speed to the max, gaining a +40 damage boost to Ninjutsu increasing their physical attacks and Taijutsu by 30, Kāma allows the user the ability to absorb any Ninjutsu regardless of rank up to 5 times. They can now use the Kāma Rift up to 2 times per opponent.
Note: Kāma cannot absorb non-chakra based physical matter, such as viruses or water from a river being manipulated, thus becoming a vulnerability towards such attacks and weapons.
Note: Only Boruto, Kawaki and Jigen bios can use. Boruto can only use Version 1, Kawaki can use version 2 while Jigen has access to Versions 2 and 3.
Note: Can only be activated a max of 3 times, each lasting 5 turns with a 4 turn cooldown period. Level 3 can only be used one time for up to 4 turns. After use, no version can be used for the rest of the battle.
Note: After absorption, he is only able to use 2 jutsu the next turn and must wait a period of 3 turns before he is able to use it again.

( Kāma ) - Karma Rift

Description: Using Kāma as a medium, the user creates a rift from the mark, which allows anyone who enters it to travel to a chosen location including foreign dimensions the user has gained access to. Note: Can only be used twice per battle, unable to be used for 4 turns in between each use.

Description: With the power given to him by Hagoromo, Naruto becomes able to use Six Paths Sage Mode, drastically empowering his abilities to a far greater state than Sage Mode does. His eyes becoming yellow and taking on a cross-like shape, he dons a chakra cloak that appears similar to his Sage Tailed Beast mode. It forms into a light colored coat with a dark colored "bodysuit" underneath that covers his torso and reaches down his arms to his knuckles and own his legs above his sandals, which are also yellow colored. It also has a light colored circle where his seal was placed as well as golden magatama markings around his collar. Naruto can maintain his mode for a much longer duration with no signs of fatigue or drawback afterwards as opposed to his normal Sage Mode. His speed and sensing are immensely increased to a level similar to Hagoromo's Rinnegan, making it possible to sense Madara's Limbo clone. While in this state, Naruto can also make use of Yin and Yang Releases, manifesting Truth-Seeking Balls that he can utilize in battle. Like his previous forms, he gains the ability to make chakra hands of varying size and also gains the ability to fly.
Note: While this state is in use, the user cannot regenerate chakra or increase his chakra pool until this Jutsu has ended.
Note: Can only be used by Six Paths Naruto bios and after use, cannot be used for at least 10 turns of battle or twice this amount for none battle based posts.

Tailed Beast Balls are made from an 8:2 ratio of positive black chakra (+の黒チャクラ, purasu no kuro chakura) and negative white chakra (−の白チャクラ, mainasu no shiro chakura). Users must gather and balance this chakra in their mouths, shape it into a sphere (or a conical shape in the case of the Ten-Tails in its second form), and then fire it at their target. Tailed Beast Balls are very destructive, creating explosions that are visible from far away and that vaporise almost everything in the blast area. The Ten-Tails has further range than other users, capable of firing it in a conical shape that causes a mid range explosion around it when used.
Note: Can only be used 3 times per battle, requiring at least a 2 turn break in between uses. This wait is doubled for the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki.
Note: If 2 or more Jinchuriki collaborate in the creation of a Bijudama, the power of it multiplies by the number of Jinchuriki.

Description: The Continuous Tailed Beast Menacing Ball is a barrage of multiple consecutive Bijudamas shot at the enemy. Unlike normal Bijudamas, these are less compressed due to the faster rate as which they are created, allowing the user to release them all in the time he would otherwise require to release a normal Bijudama. They can overcome the power weakness in sheer number and speed. Each of these projectiles is equivalent to A-Rank and the user can shoot up to 5 in a consecutive, wide or narrow, spread attack. After further maturing, the Ten-Tails demonstrated the ability to unhinge its jaw, allowing it to unfurl a rafflesia-like appendage that functions as a cannon capable of firing massive and extremely powerful Tailed Beast Balls, capable of heavily distorting even the nigh unbreakable Four Red Yang Formation. The Ten-Tails version can fire 4 Tailed Beast Balls.

Description: By her mastery of chakra, Kaguya loads chakra into her palm, which she can either unleash as a barrage of fists, dealing 120 damage, or manifest around her arms to attack with. The technique is strong enough to destroy a Complete Body — Susanoo easily. When coupled with her Byakugan, it has the potential to become the strongest offensive ability due to the ability to reduce significantly high amounts of chakra on contact, a reduction of 120 per blow. This use causes 80 damage each blow, however.
Note: Can be used 3 times and lasts up to 3 turns each use. Use of the limbs to attack takes one jutsu per turn.

( Yomotsu Hirasaka ) - Underworld Slope Hill

Description: The user is able to open rifts within the fabric of space which allows them to instantaneously transport themselves anywhere. Kaguya regularly used this technique to travel between her six dimensions. The openings can also be used to connect two different spatial locations within the same dimension or create a pathway that links two dimensions together. Similar to Kamui, Yomotsu Hirasaka allows the user to utilise these spacial tears to retreat, disorient enemies, ambush attacks, among many other possible tactics. These portals can be used to transport only sections of the user by partially entering them, and they can utilise this method to drag their opponents to another location.
Note: This can only be once every 5 turns, up to 5 times in total. The user can only travel to locations he has already traveled or to Kaguya's Dimensions, unable to used this to go to places he has never been.

( Amenominaka ) - Heavenly Governing Inside

Description: With her third eye, Kaguya teleports everyone within a certain range to one of her dimensions. As it occurs instantly, enemies can be caught completely off guard; some have found themselves plunging into a river of lava, and encased within a block of ice. Once a person is sent to another dimension, their chakra cannot be sensed from the normal world through traditional means.

When traveling to one of Kaguya's dimensions, the opponents and living targets are left at least 20 meters high in the sky.
Six Dimensions and Effects:​
  • A lava-filled expanse of land. Most notably, there exists a large volcano beside which there is a castle-like construction. Contact with the lava will cause 80 damage per turn and follows Lava's Strength and Weaknesses.
  • A mountainous core dimension which links all her dimensions together. While in this dimension, Kaguya recovers quickly, gaining an additional 10 Health and 20 chakra per turn.
  • An icy realm, composed of frozen canyons and mountains. When in contact with the ice, targets will freeze for one turn, being unable to move.
  • A vast desert full of sand dunes and sand storms, preventing long range visual or sensory based abilities from working.
  • A sea of acid which can burn any substance, organic or otherwise, causing 60 damage to everything in contact with it.
  • A dimension with small pyramid-shaped terrain which has massive gravity force. While in this dimension, everyone and everything will move with halved speed. This includes projectiles and physical attacks.
Note: Can only be used twice per battle. After any use, Kaguya cannot utilize any of her dimension based abilities for 4 turns.
( Bōchō Gudōdama ) - Expansive Truth-seeking Balls

Description: Kaguya uses mass amounts of chakra, the 5 elemental affinities and Yin-Yang to create a maximized Truth-Seeking Ball. A vast expanding mass of chaos with power to reshape the world by obliterating it to nothing first. Unlike the standard Truth-Seeking Ball, which a user starts with a set amount of spheres that cannot be regenerated if lost or destroyed, this technique does not have such limitations and can be generated from nothing. Growing up to 20 meters in size, this Truth-Seeking Ball goes beyond the normal capabilities of the technique and has even more destructive force, capable of destroying entire landmarks from the map while causing significant changes to adjacent landmarks by the force destroying all objects there to create vast empty plains.
Note: Due to its power, it can only be used once and causes Kaguya to be unable to use other jutsu that turn. After using, she takes a notable reduction of health, losing 200 health that cannot be regained through any means.
Note: After using, the user cannot use any Rinne Tensei based jutsu for up to 4 turns.
( Doujutsu: Rinne Sharingan) - Eye Technique: Samsara Copy Eye

Description: The Rinne Sharingan is the progenitor to both the Rinnegan and Sharingan. It is characterized by a ripple like pattern that spreads over the eye ball with red sclerae, containing a pattern of 9 tomoe. The Rinne Sharingan posses the ocular powers of the Sharingan and can be used to cast the Infinite Tsukiyomi, an extremely powerful Genjutsu that can only be negated by the Rinnegan, but can be dispelled by the chakra of the Tailed Beast. It is also capable of allowing the user to use the God: Nativity of a World Jutsu. The Juubi in its Tailed Beast form possesses the Doujutsu, capable of only using it's basic abilities, it's ocular tracking and sensing abilities. While Kaguya always has the Doujutsu present, Madara is only capable of awakening it after using his Tailed Beast form. Madara is capable of later activating his Rinne Sharingan for short periods of time.
Note: Constantly passively active in Kaguya Otsutsuki bios.

( Shin: Jukai Kotan ) - God: Nativity of a World of Trees

Description: A technique used to manipulate the roots of the God Tree to spread them around an entire country, this forbidden jutsu was created by Kaguya Otsutsuki to drain all trapped within the Infinite Tsukiyomi of chakra. By ensnaring all beings and connecting them to tree, like a cocoon, this will keep the targets alive as long as they remain attached to the tree. After a lengthy time, this jutsu will turn those trapped to the God Tree into White Zetsu, allowing the user to control them. These White Zetsu will have the power and chakra level of the average Sage ranked member and be able to use Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and rudimentary Wood jutsu, namely the Root applications. Capable of leaving spores on targets, these entities are able to hide inside others and lie dormant until an attempted takeover is launched, requiring an S rank surge to force out. Should they succeed, the user will have gained another White Zetsu clone.
Note: Can only be used after the Infinite Tsukiyomi has been cast.

( Infinite Tsukiyomi ) - Infinite Nightmare Realm

Description: The Infinite Tsukiyomi is considered the strongest Genjutsu known. Capable of trapping any and all in an eternal sleep, this jutsu is often used as a precursor to the God: Nativity of a World of Trees jutsu. To cast a Genjutsu of this magnitude, the user must reflect the Rinne Sharingan across the moon's surface. This can be achieved in two different ways. The first is through the use of the Ten Tails in the form of the Shinju, its complete Tailed Beast Mode, blossoming to reveal the Rinne Sharingan at the top of it which reflects across the moon. Alternatively, the user can activate it after being near it for a sufficient amount of time by reflecting it his Rinne Sharingan across the moon. Once cast, the penetrating light of the Infinite Tsukiyomi shines brightly across the world - bright enough to even dispel night for as long as it's cast. All who fall under it's light are trapped within the Genjutsu, even those underground or not physically viewing the moon, the Rinnegan eye pattern reflecting across their eyes. Victims of the Genjutsu are rendered immobile for as long as they are under it's effects, allowing them to be easy prey for the God: Nativity of a World of Tree jutsu. Those connected are eventually drained of their personality, appearances, and even their life energy. Should he require it, the user is able to take up to 300 chakra a turn from those trapped to the tree, requiring one turn per move for each 100 chakra he takes. The dead, including Edo Tensei and Edo Paths, are immune to the effects of the Infinite Tsukiyomi as well including existing White Zetsu and Jinchurikis. A Rinnegan user, while not directly immune, can shield himself and others from the initial light from the Infinite Tsukiyomi if he uses his Complete-Body Susano'o prior to its use and the wings block the light. Once cast, its effects cannot be broken or negated unless both a Rinnegan user as well as one with chakra from all 9 Tailed Beast form the Rat seal together to release the jutsu.
Note: Can only be used by Obito Uchiha, Kaguya Otsutsuki or Madara Uchiha.
Note: Obito requires the Ten Tails to be in its Shinju Mode. Madara and Kaguya can use it via Rinne Sharingan after being near the moon for at least 10 turns of battle, requiring a battle to be in place for it to be used.

( Jūbi Fukanzen Henji no Jutsu ) - Ten Tails Initial Transformation Jutsu

Description: The Ten-Tails (十尾, Jūbi) is the combined form of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and the God Tree, created to reclaim the chakra within her sons, Hagoromo and Hamura. It is regarded as the progenitor of chakra, and is tied to the legend of the Sage of Six Paths and the birth of shinobi. Unique to it and its tremendous power levels, the Ten-Tails does not have a singular transformation. Instead, it has several forms that it changes through as its chakra stabilizes. Each form has incredible power that increases as it changes.
  • The Initial form of the Ten-Tails can be summoned directly from the Jinchūriki's body in an explosion causing 80 damage to anything in short range. It possesses a grotesque bulb-like body with long arms and clawed hands, but no hind legs, as well as a wide mouth with multiple rows of pointed teeth and a single spike on its chin with dark veins along its body, and the endings of its tails resemble leaf buds. This form can make use of Tailed Beast Bombs and physical attacks, dealing 100 damage per attack. Bijuu techniques used in this state have 20 extra damage added on.
  • After time has passed, the Ten-Tails enters it's second form, the Incomplete Transformation, taking on the shape of an emaciated humanoid with elongated limbs and a twisting neck. It possesses visible legs, which it uses along with its right arm to stand, as its left arm is missing from the elbow down. The beast's head is altered greatly, as its eye remains on the front of its head, it grows a single ear on the right side, and a mouth on the left side, with a single triangular nostril above it. Several horns form on various parts on its head. This form can make use of Ten-Tails Fission and none Ten-Tails Specific Bijuu techniques used in this form gain +30 damage.
  • In the Stabilized Form, the bud-like attachments on its tails detach, revealing extendable tails which ended in humanoid hands. Its body became less emaciated, it grew a complete left arm, and it began standing on its hind legs. It later gained an even more muscular appearance and the horns on top of its head grew in size. It also towered over entire mountain ranges, being comparable in size to Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's Complete-Body Susanoo. This form can make use of previous forms techniques with added power and well as Tenpenchii, a destructive ability. It's none Ten-Tails specific Bijuu techniques gain a damage boost of +35 with twice the chakra cost of regular techniques.
Note: Each form lasts for 8 turns, taking long periods of time in between transformation as the chakra begins to stabilize. Only after the 8 turns can the Ten-Tails transform again.​
Note: Can only be used once. While the Jubi cannot be sealed, it can be defeated and reduced to 0.

( Jūbi Chon Henji no Jutsu ) - Ten Tails Final Transformation Jutsu[/b]

Description: The Final form of the Ten-Tails is that of a gigantic tree, much like the original God Tree. This tree form, which completely dwarfed the Ten-Tails in size, possessed a tall, straight trunk with a single purple bud situated on top, inside of which was the Ten-Tails' eye. This tree form was initially stated to be the God Tree, but it was later referred to as the Ten-Tails. The Ten-Tails can extend and capture enemies as large as tailed beasts in order to absorb their chakra, turning humans into desiccated corpses in a matter of seconds. Its jinchūriki can shape these roots into other forms, such as giant wooden dragons. When the bud at the top of the tree blooms and the eye within is revealed, the Infinite Tsukuyomi can be activated. Those who are caught in the Infinite Tsukuyomi and attached to the roots of the tree are, over the course of years, gradually reduced to shells of their former selves, ultimately becoming White Zetsu. While the Tree cannot directly attack, it boasts incredibly high damage shaving abilities, capable of reducing 150 damage from every attack and healing 100 at the beginning of every turn. In order to destroy, it must take the total of 200 damage in a turn.
Note: Can only enter this form once. Takes 10 turns for the tree's bud to blossom and can only be used after the Ten-Tails Initial Transformation or the Initial Transformation cannot be used at all.
Note: Can only be used by Madara Uchiha, Obito Uchiha and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
( Jūbi Bunretsu ) - Ten-Tails Fission

Description: Used as a defensive manoeuvre, the Ten-Tails has the ability to produce many replicas of itself from its main body. While they have many variations in terms of their appearance, with some appearing humanoid and others possessing an animal-like shape and operating on all fours, these duplicates share many of the Ten-Tails' distinctive traits, such as its mouth as well as spiked protrusions on their heads and backs. Their sizes also vary as some towered over others, appearing similar in size to large summons. The duplicates are capable of forming weapons of sorts including dumbbell-like weights, axe and scythe-like appendages as well as spear-like projectiles and spiked walls for defensive purposes. Regardless of their differences, the duplicates all operate with the singular goal of protecting the main body of the Ten-Tails from attack. As part of this technique, the Ten-Tails can separate and purge injured parts from its main body. This was done after part of its body was set ablaze by Amaterasu.
Note: Can only be used by the Ten-Tails in his Incomplete or Stabilized forms.
Note: Can only be used twice and can only be used to heal wounds once.
Note: When used to heal, it is capable of shedding off 180 damage.

Description: By interfering with the natural energy using its immeasurable amount of chakra, the Ten-Tails is able to simultaneously create a variety of natural disasters that devastate the surrounding area, with itself acting as their epicentre. The phenomena involved in this technique include: earthquakes, floods, thunderstorms, and tornadoes. These concurrent events result in a blast akin to a nuclear explosion, even forming a vast mushroom cloud.
Note: Can only be used once and after use, the Ten-Tails cannot be used for attacking for 6 turns.

Description: In preparation of being struck, the user activates their Rinnegan glowing blue. This technique allows the user to warp several seconds into the past, avoiding an attack by warping his spatial time placement to another location. While normally defensive, essentially allowing the user to seemingly teleport away from danger, repeated usage of this technique grants the user a pseudo-form of clairvoyance. With the acquired knowledge of how the near-future will happen, a perfect counter-strategy can be formed from being able to accurately tell how the enemy will act.
Note: Should the user be afflicted by any status condition that causes reduction of health, chakra or similar, they will still afflict the user per turn.
Note: Can only jump back 2 timeframe placement, altering actions taking place in that time by movement.
Note: Can only be used 2 times in total, once per opponent.
( Origami Kawarimi ) - Origami Replacement Technique

Description: Prior to being struck by an attack, Urashiki activates his base Rinnegan and causes it to glow blue. His body then disappears without warning, leaving behind ten glowing red orizuru, which slowly float to the ground before fading away. Afterwards, Urashiki's chakra signature is completely untraceable for 2 turns, allowing him to escape elsewhere unnoticed.
Note: This can only be used once per arc, preventing the user from attacking in the same and following turn. After using, the user cannot make use of any of his Rinnegan Abilities for 3 turns.
( Chakra Shokuyō Sōzō ) - Chakra Edible Creation

Description: By using his Rinnegan and making direct contact with a foe or his Chakra Rod, the user is able to absorb the abilities of his target for his own use. In the case of Momoshiki, he maintains contact for at least one turn and turns the stolen chakra into chakra-filled edibles which have similar shape to Chakra Fruit, which grants him their abilities. In the case of Urashiki, he must first steal it via Chakra Rod and then eat his eyes, turning them both into chakra edibles though he regains them. Both uses transform their physical appearance and augment their powers, granting them a significant speed increase and damage boost to their Jutsu, increasing by +30 as well as having 3 Golden Rinnegan.
Despite seeming all-powerful, the jutsu has it's limitations and weaknesses; this cannot absorb a target, only their ability to utilize specific fields of Ninjutsu. Through either use, the user can only absorb the Kekkei Genkai or Advanced Element of up to three different ninja at one time, meaning he cannot have at most 3 other KG or AEs. He cannot absorb Hiden Abilities nor abilities such as Sage Mode, Eight Inner Gates, or other taught abilities/Modes. By absorbing a new KG/AE and reaching other conditions, his body becomes lithe and covered with radiating black markings that resemble sunburst patterns, his horns greatly enlarge and curve back, he grows short claws on his fingers and toes, his canines extend and resemble fangs, and all his dōjutsu turn golden, including a third Rinnegan on his forehead. After using, the user cannot perform any other Rinnegan based jutsu for three turns.
Note: Can only be used once successfully once against a ninja and attempted three times in all.
Note: Requires Momoshiki to have direct contact for a full turn. Requires Urashiki to have stolen 2 KG first before he can convert both eyes into Chakra Edibles to eat.

( Ishi de Sakusei Tsūru ) - Creation Tools At Will

Description: Created via modified version of the Creation Tools At Will jutsu, the user is capable of creating a solid special red glowing malleable chakra rod. This rod is capable of being used to pierce through defenses of equal rank and lower to absorb chakra from targets pierced directly by it. This allows him the ability to use their absorbed chakra in the form of an Advanced Element or Kekkei Genkei. If the user wishes, he can directly absorb the chakra as pure chakra and increase his reserves. He can also use this Rod to steal chakra to increase his abilities, requiring use of the Chakra Edible technique after Chakra theft with this technique. This usage causes minimum damage in order to obtain the chakra and as such, is unable to harm a foe directly. However, the user is capable of using the rod to create varying physical attacks to harm the opponent such as creating an array of rod like projectiles to attack with, unable to drain or steal chakra at this time and in this state.
Note: Can only be used by Urashiki Otsutsuki.

¤ Ninja World Updates ¤

There have been a few updates, or changes in the Ninja World lately. First, a new Ninja World map was created by @Serpent this can be found in two places. The Clan Submissions & Updates thread as well as the Ninja World Rules: 1st Year Anniversary Edition with a direct link to it found . This creates a much cleaner representation of the Ninja World and its territories. It will be updated periodically and is due for slight updates soon already.

Second, Arc 12: Quiet Peace has ended and the grace period for biography updates has started. This period will last from March 15th 2020 to March 25th 2020. The next arc has not been decided yet but Lord of Kaos has suggested and mentioned an event or a tournament. As more information is created or discussed it will be brought up or posted for those interested.

Third and finally the Storyboard Mission Criteria has been updated to include information about more Mission Archetypes. This new information includes clearing up the confusion or miscommunications about Group Missions as well as defines and gives example of how to write, use and submit Village Missions. Reiterating this for those who may not want to read it, Village Missions from all villages need to be posted in the Storyboard Mission Submission Thread as long as @Howard is the Head of the NW. This is because I cannot see the subforums to check the threads there. It's easier on me, and you'll obtain faster and actual checks. So just do it. Or don't tbh, less work for me if you don't listen.

¤ Mode and Specialty Updates ¤

The various modes ( Eight Inner Gates, Curse Mark, Seven Heavenly Breaths, and Gift of the Hermit Sage ) have all had updates, ranging from the techniques alone to rules as well, aimed at making them more usable and viable in the recent days of the RP. In addition to this, all Modes now have accompanying Specialties.

¤ Prestige System Updates ¤

There have been slight tweaks and additions to the Prestige system for Sages. Allowing more combinations and offering clarity to other parts, the updates can be found here.

¤ Stone of Gelel and Tenten ¤

Two new abilities have made their way to the game recently, or rather one new ability and an update to another character. The Stone of Gelel, an ability that allows users to manipulate life energy from a stone, was added. This ability is best used alongside a Cyborg or a Samurai, adding additional firepower to them. The second is an update to Tenten, allowing her to exist as a Merchant with added benefits as well as the Sage Tools. More can be found in their respective threads.

Speaking of Merchants, they also have seen their rules overhauled for both clarity and their betterment. This includes information on how their customs work, their limitations and updates to the rules.

¤ Sand, Paper, and Hidden Abilities ¤

Sand and Paper have had small changes, moving from KG to their right places as Advanced Ninjutsu. This changes what they can be paired with so be sure to look at them again to make sure what they combine with. In a art of updates coming soon, Advanced Ninjutsu will have Specalties for each of them so be on the lookout for that.

In addition to this, most of the Hidden Abilities have had small edits as well. These also can be checked through to ser what changed.
