Here's a thought... I just wanted to share this...

I just thought that maybe... the WOOD DRAGON use by hashirama to bound the kyuubi while absorbing its chakra may also be the same as what KISAME and SAMEHADA ... The abosorb chakra is being used by hashirama if this is what happen it only means that HASHIRAMA grew strong when MADARA use the kyuubi in the fight.. HASHIRAMA logically never grew tired as the fight with madara goes to distance...And if this maybe true hashirama is a bad match up for madara with kyuubi...

Uhmm no Samehada is simply not the same as the wood dragon. Samehada is able to asorb chakra and feed it to it's owner. Mokoton does not have the ability to feed the asorbed chakra to it's owner.

It's always a possibility. Mokuton is pretty haxed so there's probably going to be even more uses to it. If his medical ninjutsu is related to his Mokuton then it's possibly it regenerates chakra too. Unknown for now but I wouldn't be surprised.
