I thought Onani Master Kurosawa was going to be a joke at first but after I got to around chapter 20 I realized that it actually had pretty good elements involved (it's only like 30 something chapters).

C'mon!
That show/manga is about a guy collecting girls and even one boy for his harem and then they must fight aginst other harems.
This does not correspond to my defintion of romance at all .... xd

Though Sekirei is a great show and I'll hope we get a 3rd season one day.

I usually hate romance anime/manga, but my favorite would have to be Gosick. It's more on the mystery side, rather than romance, but romance is definitely one of the main genres.
