Team 2 rather easily. Personally think Temari could solo. Okay so for one, Kankuro and Temari are jounin as opposed to Shino and Kiba who are merely chunin. Secondly, both Kankuro and Temari, even their part 1 selves, have better feats compared to anyone from team Kurenai. Not only that but Kankuro and Temari are the strongest in their village after Gaara while Kiba and Shino aren't even amongst the top 10 strongest in Konoha right now.

Now if you want an actual reason of why Kankuro and Temari stomp, firstly speaking, Temari's wind attacks blow Shino's bugs away and slice them apart. Kiba relies on his smell in battle to use his fang over fang jutsus which is detrimental when facing Kankuro since Kankuro can easily poison Kiba. Not only that but Kankuro's various puppets are poisoned and it is very likely that Kankuro will just block an attack using the crow puppet which will result in Kiba getting poisoned.

As for Kiba VS Temari and Shino VS Kankuro..... Temari being a long ranged fighter with powerful and wide area of effect attacks could easily stop Kiba before Kiba gets to come close to her. Kiba is fast but he moves in a linear direction so Temari isn't getting blitzed by him. Not only that, but Temari is leagues smarter than Kiba.

We saw Shino VS Kankuro end in a draw for the most part already. The thing was, Kankuro only had one puppet, the crow to use. Now he has the Crow, Black Ant, Salamander, Scorpion and Sasori's puppet. Shino had trouble fighting Kankuro who only had one puppet to use but now he has to fight a Kankuro with five puppets to use instead of one. Also Sasori puppet's flamethrower would burn Shino's bugs easily so Shino's offence is basically useless. Kankuro is a lot more versatile than Shino as his Salamander puppet has an iron shield, his Scorpion puppet has a mechanical chakra shield. I just checked and it seems like Kankuro now has Chiyo's mother and father puppets as well, both of which are good for offence and defence.

Now that I think about it, both Sand Siblings can solo with high difficulty. Together they stomp low-mid difficulty.

A rematch between Shino and Kankuro would result in Shino's win regardless of how many puppets Kankuro uses...

The siblings are only jounin cuz of plot..and they practically have fodder to compete with in their village...again, rank doesn't mean everything in the manga. but i guess it's natural for ppl to go with the siblings since they have more feats..

Shino should have had a stronger partner in this fight, seeing as though he's the 2nd strongest of the konoha 11. he's like the batman to the 11; he likely has a way of beating every other one (exception of naruto). his ability to analyze and adapt to a situation is unrivaled by his peers...so Shino would be doing all the work.

So in your dream world, Zaku's sound blast is comparably to Temari's attacks? Lol no and Temari uses attacks that cut and slice the enemy so they aren't comparable to the fodder sound blast that Zaku used against Shino in anyway whatsoever. Why won't it matter how many puppets Kankuro uses? Last time I checked, Shino was able to get around his ONE puppet using a bunshin feint to let down Kankuro's guard. This time will be different since Kankuro can cover himself with defensive puppets from all around him. He could just hide in salamander and Shino can't do shit. Not only that, Sasori's puppet's flamethrower would own Shino's bugs so how is Shino going to beat a Kankuro using multiple puppets without his weapon?

Blaming plot for everything is dumb. They were jounin because they were at the top of the line compared to all the rookies. They were both powerful and intelligent. Shino is jounin material too but he lacks versatility and is a one trick pony relying on bugs that can get killed. Kiba certainly isn't jounin material.

I'm quite sure Shino's analysis skills are on par with Temari's and inferior to Shikamaru's.
