So, after reading the manga today we can safely assume that Obito was the one behind the mask and how Rin is the main reason that triggered him into doing this... so we now know how he became the villain(Or Madara) :
1. Nagato - He is the kind of guy I don't think you can blame for what he's done in the past (Although I will hate him when he killed J-man) but looking at his past, how he was manipulated and all the suffering he'd been through in the war, having his friends and family murdered (Worse than sasuke's case) I think for me he has the best reason to be the villain in Naruto. His idea of peace was twisted but some people I know agrees with his idea.
2. Gaara - His life was hell, trying to be killed by the person he trusted, lied and manipulated, was told how he wasn't loved, worse than Naruto cos atleast he had Iruka, lonely, scared and later became a psycho.
Somehow, Gaara becoming more and more of a villain would've made more sense.
3. Sasuke - His family/clan got slaughtered by the person he loved the most (Itachi), wanted revenge on him, he died but found out the truth behind it and now has a dangerous ideal to destroy konoha and anyone else that interferes with him, he will kill them too. Now, most people disagree with why his idea of vengeance (trying to kill innocent people who have nothing to do with the massacre) but you have to agree that his life has been hell and I think killing him would have made his pain instant unlike all the pain he had to live through.
4. Orochimaru - Driven to be perfect, wants to gather every knowledge, wants to be immortal, he is the perfect villain to be the main villain unlike Madara who is 2nd place to hashirama due to hype (stole his DNA, fought with kyuubi and lost) but its unfair to judge him since we don't know his past yet, Orochimaru also wants an Uchiha Body so he can achieve his goal so there you go, a Non-Uchiha evil born person, where can you find that
I don't think Obito deserves to be in the list for a villain with good origin because the guy didn't even bother knowing why Kakashi killed rin and I get his idea to create the dreamland and that he is motivated for that purpose but
why not kill Kakashi, why not take his eye if he knows how precious those Sharingans are......(its MS as well)
