Can the Rinnengan cast sharingan based jutsu?

The rinnengan is sharingan evolved correct? it allows the user to use all affinities Plus yin and yang chakra. So in theory can you use Amaterasu or Tsukiyomi from it? if say Shisui has rinnengan could he then cast KA with his rinnengan?

See how madara is using Susanoo with Rinnengan activated? like can Rinnengan cast Sharingan related jutsu.

Well possibly, I think you are able to do it if you evolved it yourself from Sharingan->MS->EMS->Rinnegan, I mean, it'd be pretty dumb if you just lost all your former abilities. I don't think Nagato was ale to use Sharingan techniques, since he got his Rinnegan planted from Madara

Ok say if Obito for instance. you cannot use tsukiyomi or amaterasu from his rinnengan because he did not unlock the abilities before the eye was implanted then.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it works that way although I'm not entirely sure about how these things work. But since Nagato never used any Sharingan based tecniques I think it's pretty safe to assume that he wasn't able to use them

Exactly. If you have unlocked the Rinnegan through evolving your Sharingan, then you can switch back between the two.( Im assuming because Madara did it and he was the only one to unlock the Rinnegan).

Obito got rid of his other Sharingan, so he cannot use that sharingans abilities, but he still has his original so it doesn't really matter.

You need both eyes to Unlock Susanoo.
And only a few members of the Uchiha have Amaterasu and Tsukuyumi.
Obito's Magenkyo technique is Space Time Warp.
He would've also had Kuami, but he gave it to Kakashi.

Yes, it is just past the level of EMS, the highest sharigan level an uchiha can reach.... But its only specualtion, considering madura is the only ninja alive to have unlocked the rinnegan so far, besides nagato and the sage of 6 paths.... they don't count.

no, i dont think so cause if it could nagato would have used it and as shown in the manga with madara he's no longer using his sharingan techs
