so pretty much you can switch between the regular and ms?
for the longest time we had only seen kakashi with regular sharingan and suddenly he appears with it but hes had it since he killed rin

Did you not notice he passed out shortly after due to him over using his chakra I mean he could have re-discovered it during the time skip or he could have been training his chakra to use it as we saw when he first used it he was unable to control it or aim it correctly so yeah my best bet is he re-discovered it during time-skip.

i agree, probably after encounter with itachi he realized that there is another level after 3T sharingan and that he had that power with him all this time

1. Kakashi passed out immediately, 99.99% chance he wasn't even aware he awakened it.
2. There is no way he even knew about the MS. The only two people that had awakened it before this point were Madara and Izuna.
3. He saw Itachi use it, and during the time skip he found out he could use it.

I think it's the contrary judging by what the other ninja said "we must not let the ennemy get her", which means that Rin was their ally, so Rin was the traitor there

That's not known for sure, and if that was the. Case why would they allow Kakashi to kill her and say "at least revive the girl!" or something like that.

I think Obito unlocked the MS for both of them. He still had a link with his left sharigan if you remember from the chapter before this one. Madara said that you can only unlock the sharigans full potential when you have 2 of them. I think this is what he meant by that. I think the link between Obito and the sharigan he gave Kakashi was still there and thus he gained the MS through Rin's death for both him and Kakashi. Itachi made it seem like it was impossible for a non Uchiha to achieve this trait. He probably knew that Kakashi had to have had dual sharigans and be a Uchiha to do this.

tbf to kishi kakashi did faint and probably didnt realize i mean obito killed all the mist shinobi kakashi probably thought it was a dream and hes lucky to be alive

Yep kakashi had this when he fought zabuza but didn't know however im sure he knew there was another level beyond normal sharingan.

This is kakashi we're talking about, he's pretty darn fast and he stabbed rin through the heart; not even a senju would be able to revive her from that xd

He passed out after awakening it so he likely never knew it even existed until Itachi 1 shot owned him during their first fight. That would explain why he never used it until after the time skip and referred to it as new.

Or that Kakashi didn't have the chakra reserves in part 1 to actually use Kamui. Three uses with his increased chakra against Deidara put him in bed for a week. I can't imagine the effects of him using Kamui under such low chakra and stamina levels of part 1, it might have even killed him.
