How? anyone living who takes a rasenshuriken is done being a shinobi, it does irreversible damage to the chakra network to the point a user can no longer mold or emit chakra, it destroys the chakra network, and Wind>Lightning, once he gets hit with a rasenshuriken he will no longer be able to use his lightning shroud, or any jutsu for that matter, the only reason the edo kept going was because that irrepairable damage is null and void since he's an edo, if he were alive the 1st rasenshuriken would have finished him.

If the 3rd Raikage wasn't an edo, he would have been killed by Temari. Anyway sure 3rd Raikage is fast and durable but Naruto is much faster and his defence through chakra cloaks and healing abilities arguably rival that of the 3rd Raikage. Multiple FRS and tailed beast bombs should do the trick. Naruto wins low-mid difficulty.

Edit: Lol at the people saying the FRS would have destroyed Raikage's chakra network. FRS destroys cellular structure but the Raikage's cells are much more durable than the cells of ordinary shinobi. Still multiple FRS and Tailed beast bombs would destroy him completely, no denying that.

I completely agree I don't think it's fair to compare an Edo to a living breathing shinobi since an Edo basically has their will and instincts stripped away from them and it's hard to guage their true power would Naruto had won that fight without fore knowledge on the 3rd absolutely not but he had extensive intel and was able to formulate a plan..

However, if you'd read my post you'd see that Rasenshuriken does chakra network damage on a cellular level, but this normally permanent damage was nullified because he was an EDO, no one living can tank a rasenshuriken. FACT

The 3rd Raikage's metal body makes it so that those tiny microscopic blades of wind won't be able to destroy his iron hard cells therefore his cells won't be destroyed. Other attacks comparable to FRS would deal greater damage against the 3rd Raikage though.

Dunno, I find this hard to believe since the damage isn't physical, Tsunade compared Narutos rasenshuriken to poison, you can't tank poison, it can only be avoided, I could wrong but I don't think he could tank that move, there's nothing else like it in the entire manga, not to mention that his wind type beats out the lightning.

no obvious author portrayal says that its the raikages durable body that let him tank rasenshuriken. any other edo wouldve gotten vaporized and have had to regenerate.
