No, these opinions are all either false/incredibly distorted. Hiruzen didn't have knowledge of edo (he tried to stop it, but it couldnt be summoned anyway so we dont know if he coupd hve stopped it), now everyone (everyone who could beat kabuto) knows about it. The easiest way to stop edo is to kill kabuto while he is preparing a sacrifice, while he is making the seal, or while the coffin is being summoned. Edo is nowhere near an instant jutsu.

I am a fangirl of Minato. But I wont ever reach the level of stupidity of saying he can solo SO6P. Lets be honest. He cant solo Madara, Hashirama, and those.
But Itachi vs Minato would be one hell of a thing.
