Trick question, DBZ is the best Anime ever (the best Shounen Anime at least).

I like the idea DBZ was going for, insanely buff guys going at each other with power levels that can destroy planets. What I dislike about DBZ, is how similar these powers are, and how often times it seems that the characters lack variety and share similar looks and powers.
Think about it: For the most part, they have spiky hair and are buff. Also, most of them more or less have similar attack (Shooting beams).
For the lack of variety, I never really got into DBZ.

The compelling story line, great humor, unattainable love, twisted characters, lovable main character, heart wrenching moments, and awesome action. I'm a grown ass man and some moments, like when Obito stood up to Kakashi and then died by his side, gave me goose bumbs. It is a great story. I think it is the greatest action anime. Other animes are good in their own right but they fall into other genres.

The story, characters and the mystique around things you desperately want to know. No show ever got me so involved in theorizing. There is so much we don't know yet and the cool thing is we can figure things out by the knowledge we have now but it's a real challenge and requires lots of reading which just plunges you further into the story.

I don't even want to compare One Piece to Naruto. To me they touch such different feelings and I love them both for what they are. I honestly can't say if I like One Piece or Naruto better. It all depends on the mood I'm in

Awhhaha Logic is in luuuuurve.

Best Anime? No. One of the best mangas? Yes. Best anime IMO is Death Note.

I will say that I did fall in love with the narutoverse though, epic powers and amazing emotion scenes.

Imo, the amazing villians, the tactical element in the fights and the unique skills which mix so well allowing one to restructure a fight easily like in role play. plus, there's a fantastic array of unique and likeable characters

and what about one piece

To be completely honest, I've really wanted to get into One Piece but there are a few things that have delayed me from doing so.
1) I tried watching the first few episodes, and they were just really slow for me. I know this is a general rule for pretty much most animes, but I was seriously going to fall asleep.
2) I don't really like the main characters all too much. Namely, Luffy and that guy with the slingshot. The cooking dude is pretty sweet though.

I've actually seen some fights out of curiosity, like the ones in the admiral arc where Whitebeard attacks the admirals. They were awesome.

Mainly, I like One Piece, but the first few episodes were just too boring for me so I dropped it all-together. I do from time to time watch the fights in One Piece however, even though I have a limited understanding of the story. :D

you can say what you want but kishimoto himself said dragonball was his inspiration so no dragonball no naruto and naruto is like a weak version of dragon ball really it is good but to many plot holes and dumb unanswered questions one piece is so much better and i am aware this is naruto base but i can still like other anime and other manga lol

Well there's a lot that could be improved but what I like most about the series is probably the characters. Too bad that kind of faded away in Shippuden.

ive been there. i watched the start up to 70-80ish then stopped for about a year. got bored... then i got addicted once i saw the impel down arc up to the recent ep in the anime. but i actually skiped tons of episodes due to anticipation wth the war arcxd. i like the chars a lot as well. and honestly, i dnt like the main chars. lol . i like the antagonists and other cool chars. for me they are better than naruto chars. and iv been a fan of naruto for 4-5 years now. i like op more.

and the other reason why i got involved in op again is cuz i got bored with the recent shippuden episodes. the animation is lame and idk. its boring. but i still read naruto manga
