Stating strongest has to factor in intelligence in this series. As long as they're somewhat close in skill, the person with more intelligence(strategic, anyway) will more often than not win the fight.(Hidan vs Shikamaru and Kakashi vs Deva/Asura being two great examples)

Just common sense says that an immortal person with unlimited Chara, EMS, Rinnegan and Mokuton is stronger than a living person which is using the Mokuton and healing techniques only. Maybe we lack knowledge about Hashiramas full strength and he was much stronger, but this is too much.

lawl no he wasn't. Madara said the only one capable of stopping him was hashirama, not the only one capable of stopping perfect susanoo is hashirama. Learn to read.

Sorry, bro. The only, "intel" Shikamaru had on em', was all gathered in one fight. Which Shikamaru could have won if Kakuzu had not interfered, and Asuma had not thrown away his life. Also, there's a huge flaw in Hidan's jutsu. First of all, he has to stay in that circle. Which by the way, just makes him weaker to Shikamaru's shadow possession technique. Second of all, if the person he is fighting is willing to die. He has officially lost that fight, because they just chop off his head and bam. They both die. Now, you can argue his head can be sewn back on by someone else. But in an ideal 1v1 situation, there's no someone else. In multiple ways, Hidan is worse than Sakura.

OP: I have nothing to add to this, a lot of common sense and lack of logic has been suggested about this. My point is, Hashirama never fought the Rinnegan, or his own Mokuton. Granted, Hashirama may steal away Madara's mokuton due to superior control. But yea, immortal body attached to a Rinnegan + Woodstyle, i'd piss myself. But then again, Madara is currently severely vulnerable to sealing Jutsu. So hey, never know. But my vote goes to Edo Mad.

im not gonna say that madara can use all the rinnegan jutsus when he hasnt used all of them. you do realize that madaras perfect susano is stronger and is more damaging than everything else in madaras arsenal. one swing from its sword flattened the meteor he summoned with his rinnegan. if hashirama survived and beat madaras perfect susano then there shouldnt really be a debate to whether he could survive madaras meteor.

being an edo changes nothing as hashirama has scrolls full of sealing techs. edo tensei is just there.
