What would happen if...

Someone from the Uchiha clan does not and cannot awaken the Shaingan, and implants somebody's Sharingan. Would he be like a Elite Uchiha like Itachi and use it effectively. Or would he be like Kakashi that cannot use it to its highest capabilities.

Probably not. Kakashi was an elite ninja before he got the sharingan. He was already a jonin at that young age. If the person can't activate the sharingan and tries to implant one I doubt they would be very powerful.

ill assume you reference kakashi because of the chakra drainage , in that regard it shouldnt have any effect on the uchiha body

his use of it however will depend on him as a ninja, some uchihas could be considered fodder, like the ones itachi smacked around with the 3 tomoe , sharingan is just a tool, its how you use it

The sharingan normally awakens from emotional stress, that means you have to engage urself in battle to awaken it (we see for example sasuke and obito awakening it during battle). The implanted sharingan would probably adapt to his body cose he has uchiha blood. But if he didn't awaken it himself/herself then that means that his uchiha is either too young or a lazy @ss that never went on a serious fight xd where it's almost a life death situation .
...maybe that person would also awaken some special 3tomoe sharingan abilities that other 3tomoe users couldn't achieve, meaning something between 3tomoe sharingan and mangekyou -but not mangekyou

^ This. I was thinking that it would be like Kakashi's situation but if the person is an Uchiha, they might find it easier than Kakashi to master and use it. After all they are an Uchiha right? But I wish we could see what would happen as it's difficult to say. (imo)

Kakashi is still highly skilled with the Sharingan but it's just his chakra that's the problem. If someone like an Uzumaki or Senju implanted the Sharingan they would be above Kakashi. Oh, and ts;dr=Too Short, Didn't Read.

I imagine it would work just fine given the bloodline. But the Uchiha didnt do that, you were a failure/black sheep if you werent able to activate your Sharingan. They wouldnt waste the time giving you one from a real Uchiha.
