but overall I feel like his dip in stamina effects his overall strength in a negative way.

Kakashi was drained after a water clone or two, a water dragon, and a water vortex with his Sharingan. 1 Raikiri while he fought Zabuza on the bridge seems to have taken a big toll on Kakashi while on the bridge (could barely fight fodder afterwards).

He seems to have gotten a lot more used to his Sharingan over time, to the point where he used several Raikiri at a time.

Kakuzu lasted a long time, he was constantly
Using chidori, jumping in and out saving ino and choji.
Of course it may seem he gets fatigued more easily,
But that's because his abilities require more
