Kankuro. I know this might be controversial. Sinse Kankuro surpasses Sasori and has his puppet body to prove it. In the war arc he admits to surpassing Sasori and uses his Black secret technique to assist in releasing sasori. Sasori prasise Kankoro in the battle. Thus making Kankuro the second strongest Ninja in the sand village.

I made this as sort of a pilot to see if it was a good Idea. I could make a series of these threads depending on how the response is. If it gets flamed and derailed then I will probably stop here.

Kankuro isn't better than Sasori, Sasori, if he would have his puppet body and his puppets, would defeat Kankuro with no big problems and i would rank Baki higher, this is how i would do it:

9) Temari
8) Kankuro
7) Baki
6) Ebizo (i consider him on the level of Chiyo, but since we know nothing about him, i would not include him in this)
5) Chiyo
4) 4th Kazekage
3) 3rd Kazekage
2) Gaara
1) Sasori

you might disagree with me putting Sasori over Gaara, but i still think if it is everyone in prime, than Sasori owns all (from Sunagakure that is)

Kankuro isn't better than Sasori, Sasori, if he would have his puppet body and his puppets, would defeat Kankuro with no big problems and i would rank Baki higher, this is how i would do it:

when Naruto had only SM, they said he surpassed Minato, anyone really believes that Naruto SM could beat Minato? oh please

they too said that when Naruto learned Rasen-Shuriken (without SM) than he surpassed Kakashi, no one really believes Kakashi would lose to Naruto without SM or KM, right? xd

TheFifthMizukage, you do understand, that Sasori just has to use that Poison Mist thingie or scratch Kankuro a bit to beat him? Kankuro isn't protected from Poison, unlike Sasori

I'd say Gaara's probably the strongest but I'd definitely say Sasori was better than Kankuro. Mine:

5. Pakura
6. Kankuro
7. Chiyo

9. Baki

All Pakura has to do is move near to someone to turn them into a mummy, that's why I put her so high. But she could be switched beneath Kankuro and Chiyo I guess...
