Oh god, Gai as Hokage... I can just imagine the village-wide training regimen he'd impose-- genin must do 500 laps on one leg around Konoha daily! Go!

Kakashi would probably be the best. Though he doesn't have the power others have it matters more that he has the intelligence, decision-making skills, the patience and calmness to deal with the task of Hokage. Naruto is still reckless and pretty dumb, so I can't imagine the administration mistakes he'd make and the foolish decisions for the village... give him a couple more years. Kakashi would conduct the village best right now (besides, ramen guy is too dangerous).

Naruto would make an awesome Hokage too, he's not as hotheaded as everyone thinks. Naruto actually thinks now, his campaign for peace is also a good feat. He is still too young though, he would need Shikimaru to do his paperwork lol because he's too dumb ctfu.

but very soon, Naruto will be the best hokage in history. He's by far the most powerful, he can realistically protect everyone with his clones, and he has great relations with other villages. He will need an advisor like Shikamaru or Kakashi to help him out with the brainy stuff, but apart from that I think he'd make a great hands-on hokage like Minato was. Hiruzen and Tsunade are more of a general type imo.

Kakashi doesn't want it, Gai is....Gai, I think Naruto is Kage level but not mature enough to manage the entire villiage. For me Shikamaru's Father, Shikamaru, or neji would be my choices.

The whole reason Naruto wanted to become Hokage in the first place is that he wanted to be accepted and respected I'd say by now the whole villiage does.
