How did Mathias get the ability?

Just because it got added when it shouldn't have doesn't mean it was through corruption. Sometimes there are misunderstandings and mistakes, it happens.

That's one of the reasons I think these special abilities should be restricted, or should require tests instead of asking a Mod/Admin. Admins and mods are human, and can't gather enough knowledge on every single person who asks for their permission, and obviously won't be able to deduce whether or not they are deserving.
This creates a situation were they will only be able to give these "special abilities" the deserving ones among their friends.

Hey, i only knew that mathias had asked permission for that ability... I can't give permission for those things obviously.

Also, staff bios and staff abilities are checked and handled by nexus...not by each other amongst us!

I think for the most part the Mods will know enough about people asking for abilities to make an informed decision. If someone's been in the RP long enough to be wanted special things, then I would think the mods would know of them.

But if you want to discuss changing how special abilities are gained, that's a whole different topic. This thread was specifically claiming corruption was the cause of things, which is a pretty serious claim to make without any actual proof.

I asked about 2-3 Rp mods. and they said i cant have rain and smoke in the same bio.l about 2-3weeks ago..... Soooooo why do the newer bios get that..... O___o. Overall. Gettn permission ..... mehh. Idk. Cause by all means im sure nexus have people he like and dont like. people that kiss his ass and want his ass gone.... I guess is now my time to post something in respect of this discussion. Let's see how this rule goes:

"This type of ability (put ability here) is prohibited with this kind of ability in the same biography (such as having two KGs or SM with an Uchiha, I dunno, you know what I mean). But! people who had it before still can have it"

So let me understand how this rule works. Let's say I create a custom uchiha biography, then I stock it up with something along the lines of putting SM and EIG into it. Then some people know what I have done and repeat the same thing I had done, gaining a considerable advantage in the RP. The RP authority is aware of this and creates a law that prohibits the creation of further biographies with the same abilities I put on them, but I'm still allowed to keep the abilities because I done it before the law is created.

I can understand that the authority is following de facto laws, in which someone shouldn't be punished by a law that was created after they have committed the crime. But, this doesn't mean that they are able to continuesly break the law because they were able to break the law before it was implemented. Some people do not even update their bios anymore because the new rules were implemented, allowing them to keep all their abilities; while others update their biographies not being afraid of losing their abilities as they had it before the rules.

So let's see how it goes. I do something that causes a law to be created, which is imposed in everyone else but me, the culprit. This means I have access to a special biography created solely for me (and other people who followed before the law), but the law was created to prevent something like that. In such case, the law instead of interfering with me, it actually benefits me, as I access to something no one else has.


So here is what I suggest in doing:

1. If you update your biography, your biography should follow every law that has been created. This way your biography should follow the current laws instead of laws of the past.

2. Once a new law is created (such as not being able to have this ability in your biography if you have a certain KG or ability) you are obligated to update your biography conforming suggestion 1.

I know it may seem "unfair" to the people who had the ability beforehand, but it promotes actual balance and fairness into the game. This way we don't have really stacked biographies with multiple abilities, but a biography that follows laws and is "equal" to everyone else, though he may still have much more powerful abilities.


@Yard. The Pervy Sage has in his Natsu biography that he trained with toads in order to gain the ability to control sage chakra, but he is incapable of getting into Sage Mode. Controlling Sage chakra means being able to sense it and also to use some of it's unique abilities.

I don't give a **** about the messenger. The message is what bothers me.

I didn't give permission to mathias to have that, period. And god himself can come here and say i was the one that it makes little to no difference.

Why? Because that ability isn't mine to give and because staff stuff can only be given or checked by nexus period.

Well, I don't see a problem with trying to find a solution to the problem or a way to prevent it, regardless of it being corrupted from not.
