Okay with all the complaining can someone close this thread please? I am tired of reading about Sage Mode and Hawk Mode, Gates, Ms and other bs. Those abilities doesn't mean anything. I think I know the reason for the creator of this thread making this thread. He can't face against any user with the any of the above ablitiies. I wounder could you face me becasue I have no kind of ability anymore because I dropped it the started of my journey of meeting the Bears.
I can't face them? Interesting point of view but the real point of this thread is to show everyone that you can get incredibly overpowered abilities if you are friends with a mod or admin.

Okay, you used Dan's Natsu bio as an example of the corruption. But here is how he got those abilities:

MS - Won via a tournament open to tons of people

Sage Mode - Taught to him by UzumakiJake

Heat Sensing - Given to him by Kagutsuchi

Smoke - Not restricted when added to the bio

So I guess I'm just missing where the corruption is.

Well op or not, why does it matter. Most members won or earned their abiliity. Plus I am friends with SY(I miss you man, where you at), the question I asked him about some kind of ability, he would have gave it to me because I was his friend. But no he didn't even though I have the requirements for the ability he wants to keep the ability to the one character just like how the other mods just came up with the rule of only Ink and Smoke is canon only. But before that rule, anyone could have Ink or Smoke in their bio. It is all about when the rule was enforced. Just like when the new Gates rules was posted, everyone wanted Gates(I did too but my reason is because Gates is the final step for a Taijutsu master like myself some others) but the mods changed the rule before anyone got the approvale for Gates.

I was told by Zen when I got sensing on my Nekura that I couldn't have any other special things like smoke/rain on the bio. Sensing + smoke isn't allowed apparently. >_>

I find the fact Mathias has Smoke And Ink yet refuses to give any permission for it stupid,Ink doesnt even have restrictions unless im unaware of them.

Okay... Okay... Okay

I guess is now my time to post something in respect of this discussion. Let's see how this rule goes:

"This type of ability (put ability here) is prohibited with this kind of ability in the same biography (such as having two KGs or SM with an Uchiha, I dunno, you know what I mean). But! people who had it before still can have it"

So let me understand how this rule works. Let's say I create a custom uchiha biography, then I stock it up with something along the lines of putting SM and EIG into it. Then some people know what I have done and repeat the same thing I had done, gaining a considerable advantage in the RP. The RP authority is aware of this and creates a law that prohibits the creation of further biographies with the same abilities I put on them, but I'm still allowed to keep the abilities because I done it before the law is created.

I can understand that the authority is following de facto laws, in which someone shouldn't be punished by a law that was created after they have committed the crime. But, this doesn't mean that they are able to continuesly break the law because they were able to break the law before it was implemented. Some people do not even update their bios anymore because the new rules were implemented, allowing them to keep all their abilities; while others update their biographies not being afraid of losing their abilities as they had it before the rules.

So let's see how it goes. I do something that causes a law to be created, which is imposed in everyone else but me, the culprit. This means I have access to a special biography created solely for me (and other people who followed before the law), but the law was created to prevent something like that. In such case, the law instead of interfering with me, it actually benefits me, as I access to something no one else has.

So here is what I suggest in doing:

1. If you update your biography, your biography should follow every law that has been created. This way your biography should follow the current laws instead of laws of the past.

2. Once a new law is created (such as not being able to have this ability in your biography if you have a certain KG or ability) you are obligated to update your biography conforming suggestion 1.

I know it may seem "unfair" to the people who had the ability beforehand, but it promotes actual balance and fairness into the game. This way we don't have really stacked biographies with multiple abilities, but a biography that follows laws and is "equal" to everyone else, though he may still have much more powerful abilities.

@Yard. The Pervy Sage has in his Natsu biography that he trained with toads in order to gain the ability to control sage chakra, but he is incapable of getting into Sage Mode. Controlling Sage chakra means being able to sense it and also to use some of it's unique abilities.

"Natsu got exicited at the thought of meeting Igneel again, and even more excited about the though of using more fire techniques. A couple of days after having his fortune told, Jiraiya took Natsu to meet Ma and Pa, the two elder toads in the village. After much talking they decided to teach him how to control natural energy. They took him to the sercret fountain where he'd go under dangerous training using the secret oil and learn to gather natural energy. Though the toads had to explain how their sage mode wouldn't work his with sharingan. And so Natsu mastered the control of natural energy but was unable to use it fully."

Well, those are my two cents.

Still, I don't think its about corruption. I think there's a higher chance that Nexus just didn't know about that rule at the time. In the bio I just submitted a week ago with Rain/Smoke/Hyuga, Nexus seemed fine with it, but since I'm not in med school any more he told me to have another mod look at it who told me I couldn't have that stuff in the same bio.

And for smoke, its all you bastards that randomly started adding it to your bios that got that damn rule put in place, ruined everything for me. >.>

How did Mathias get the ability?

Just because it got added when it shouldn't have doesn't mean it was through corruption. Sometimes there are misunderstandings and mistakes, it happens.
I guess im not done
We dont know how mathias got the ability. Obviously Kagutsuchi didnt know Mathias had the ability so either Mathias just put it on thinking no one would notice or he took a devious way and beating around the bush while asking to get permission to it or he misunderstood something.

i agree with Gin-san, he actually took time and suggested a way to fix the problem, unlike others.
Gin I'll give you a cookie :p

Right, so it could have happened any number of ways, yet people in this thread are screaming bloody murder about it being done through corruption, with no proof to back it up.

So again, where is this corruption? Can anyone provide any actual evidence of it?

I asked Nexus and he said scorps gave him it
I did what now? o_O

Hey, i only knew that mathias had asked permission for that ability... I can't give permission for those things obviously. o_O

Also, staff bios and staff abilities are checked and handled by nexus...not by each other amongst us!

Yes it could have happened a number of ways but Minato has just explained Scorps gave it it to him.

Well obviously Kagutsuchi didnt know Mathias had the ability.
Its Kagutsuchi's ability to give permission for not scorps. Kagutsuchi is the fire sage and got the ability for that. Scorps cant give permission for something he doesnt own just because of his blue name.

Now I'm done.
Again, jumping to the conclusion that its corruption. Isn't it possible that there was a misunderstanding?

Why are we just assuming Scorps abused his power to do that? The mods are human, they make mistakes. Now that its been pointed out, its going to be corrected.
