Re: Hiruzun strongest hokage?
Alright, in the past couple of days, I've seen many threads stating Hiruzen is the strongest hokage - stronger than Hashirama and Minato (I can't say about Tobirama as we've little info about him). Personally, I find this VERY hard to believe and I'll say why that is.
When Hiruzen confronted Kurama 12-13 years before the start of the series, he was 55-56 (68-69, his age before death less 12-13). This is almost the age at which Jiraiya was defeated by Pain (he was 54). Now, Jiraiya put up one hell of a fight before being brought down. And his speed and stamina were still amazing. On the other hand, Hiruzen needed a large squad to back him up to just PUSH BACK Kurama, forget defeating it. What I really find weird is that Hiruzen doesn't have any techniques which are unique to him or any S or A rank techniques, barring RDS which is suicide anyway. I know he is really efficient at other elemental techniques and has mastered all types of combat - ninjutsu taijutsu and genjutsu. But if you have a look at S-class or Kage level ninjas, almost all have some unique or special techniques which MAKES them extremely dangerous. Eg: Deidara's clay techniques, Itachi's Mangekyou, A's lightning armour, etc.
Also Onoki is also very old, but he is still strong and can use his special jutsus i.e. Dust release. This is why I find it hard to believe 3rd Hokage can beat the 1st or the 4th. What do you guys think?
