Okay so first of all let me just say, "HOLY SHIT! SAGE MODE KABUTO!" now that I have that through, seeing this development raised quite a few questions. First of all that fact that Kabuto says that he is no longer a snake, but a dragon. If this is true then does that mean that when Naruto enters sage mode he become another more advanced amphibian or some crazy shit? It makes me wonder if there is some kind of difference between snake and toad sage mode, since they are both just senjutsu-drawing natural energy from the earth My final question was the possibility of slug senjutsu, If Tsunade could maybe use this or it could be related to Mitotic restoration, I am really confused and waiting desperately for an update. Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing earlier, and do they take in natural energy different? I ask because Naruto has to stay still but it seemed like Kabuto was moving unless he was just inside the snake not moving or some crazy shit like that.

kabuto is originally a med-ninja so his chakra control is way better then naruto which means he doesnt have to sit still like naruto.

This relates quite well to Sasuke's conversation with Orochimaru before he killed him. To remind people, Sasuke related Orochimaru to a snake, and the Uchiha clan to hawks (if i remember right). When a snake attacks a hawk, it loses against the raw beauty, the beauty of flight. That's why Oro, being the snake, went for the hatchlings instead (this being Sasuke). However, the hatchling eventually grew wings, and surpassed the snake yet again with the same beauty that had always defeated it; snakes have always wanted to fly.

Now, Kabuto is a mystical dragon. He embodies the spiritual god of the snakes; he's a serpent that CAN fly.
