After abit of hard thinking, I've concluded that Sasuke will not (110%) die by Naruto's hands. Here's why:
As we know, Sasuke represents the Uchiha or older son whilst Naruto represnts (kind of) the Senju or younger son.
Anyhow, we know Kishi likes to work in Parallels. For example, Naruto being like Jiraiya (his Sensei), Sasuke being like Orochimaru (his Sensei) and Sakura being like Tsunade (her Sensei). Personality wise, all 3 Sannin shared characteristics with the corresponding member of group 7. This is a very important idea and you'll see why.
and
Moving on, the story is that the So6P had two sons and he needed to choose a successor. The Elder son believed power was the way to peace whilst the younger son believed love was the way to peace. The sage chose the younger son to become his successor.
The elder son and the younger son battled due to their conflictiong principles (The Elder about power and the Younger about love etc). As of now, we do not actually know what the outcome of that battle was. However, I've assumed that the younger son indeed killed his older brother and you'll see why in a moment.
We know that Kishi used Hashirama vs Madara to represent the first installment of these conflicting principles. Hashirama had the 'will of fire' and represented the younger son, whilst Madara had the 'curse of hatred' and represented the older son. These two were locked in heated battle. We know that Hashirama one this battle, although we also know that Madara wanted Hashirama's DNA in order to achieve the Rinnegan. We also know that Madara knew Nagato, likely meaning he survived up to 42 years after the battle. However, we do not as of yet know how Madara survived, or if he even did for that matter. He could've got an accomplice to do things etc. We don't know the full story.
So I'm taking it, for now, that Hashirama (representing younger son) also killed the representative of the older son; Madara.
Which leads me onto Naruto and Sasuke. The tailed beasts already described how Naruto is going to be the saviour who will find peace:
This relating to the Sage of 6 path's original idea:
We also know how Nagato believe's Naruto is the true saviour. I think Kishi is pointing to something. Remember when Naruto said to Kakashi:"How can I become Hokage if I can't even save one friend (the friend being Sasuke)?" Or something along those lines. I believe Kishi is pointing towards Naruto saving Sasuke through peace.
I believe that Naruto is going to be the first in the chain of younger son representatives not to kill the elder son representative. Ultimately, I think that this is what will make him become the next Sage of peace. If you think about it, both the younger son and Hashirama both had the will of fire and believed that love was the way to peace, however, neither became the next Sage that brought peace. I believe that this could be Naruto's way of achieving this; by saving Sasuke, not killing him.
Or it could all be BS and Naruto is gonna eliminate Sasuke's existence. Either way, these were just some of my thoughts................
