He's from Kazekage clan wth is that? he is the heirs of Kazekage if Gaara and Kankurou did not have any blood-related child. Meaning he's probably the next Kazekage after Gaara? Found this sht in the novel.

He's a foreigner and a konoha nin so that's a big no the the kazekage role. He is however a potential Hokage candidate.

Ps. Gaara's adopted his owm children.

This, by bloodline Shikadai is candidates of Kazekage because his mother is oldest siblings in Kazekage clan and Gaara/Kankurou is bachelors.

Since when was being a kage a birthright?

Since Hashirama, his brother, his student, then his granddaughter, the husband of his wife's blood related relative, and lastly the wife's relative's son.

It would be cool to see him as one of the candidates for Kazegake.

A rivalry between him and Shinki sounds inteteresting.

As Gaara adopted his children, Shikadai is the only one with the Kazekage blood.

And wiki is fanmade. Kage isn't a birthright.

Since Hashirama, his brother, his student, then his granddaughter, the husband of his wife's blood related relative, and lastly the wife's relative's son.

Hashirama - Tobirama - Tsuande and Minato - Naruto is the only kage from Konoha that was brother's. Hiruzen Kakashi and for a few Danzo wasn't and isn't related to them.

Tsuchikage became kage due to his teacher wasn't blood related. Only Kurotsuchi and Oonoki are related.

Same as Raikage and Darui no relation yet he's a kage.

Same as the previous kazekage. Only Gaara and his dad was kage.

Being a kage isn't a birthright.

The Gaara Novel had the suna elders worried that if Gaara or Kankuro died, Shikadai would be the heir to the Kazekage seat. So, it's something like that.

Not in the strict sense. Kakashi and Danzo were also the only eligible and relevant characters left, so there really weren't any Senju to pick from. Hashirama(Senju), Tobirama(Senju), Third(student), Fourth(wife's relative's husband, ofc not why he was chosen), Fifth(Grandaughter), Danzo(student) 6th(son of fourth). Nearly every one of them were closely related to Hashirama or tied to him or another by blood or relationship.

Being a Kage isn't a birthright.. Except you consider the novels canon. But then in Kishi's manga, there were no hints that showed Rasa and the third Kazekage were related. Kishi wise, Shikadai is not eligible imo.

Kage are not to be blood related. Boruto is not gonna be Hokage, it is about will to defend the village and have the power to do it.
