Sasuke learnt how to use fire release(with seals) Boruto instinctively added futon and without seals to his Rasengan. More like a natural nature affinity without undergoing change in nature etc. Either way we'll learn soon enough.

You don't need hand seals to use Rasengan.

Plus that has nothing to do with natural affinity, but I'm going with what's shown more often. Boruto rarely uses Futon outside of his Rasengan, but he seems to display more Lightning techniques. If this OP is any indication, it looks like he's going to use it more often now, despite trying to use Mitsuki's wind technique earlier.

Tho it makes sense considering Boruto takes after his dad and sasuke. But even current Boruto uses more Raiton, and even displays Suiton more.

Adding natural affinity shouldn't require seals that's the point I was getting at. Anyway I just watched today's episode Boruto used a fodder wind technique.

I understand where your coming from and it is possible nothing is set in stone yet. Anyway Bolt being called bolt is to do with Neji's name although Kodachi can do anything at the moment. You could be right.
