His view point was solid he was a little bit of a cry baby though. To be fair he did lose his dad but his hate for the main house drove him he even learnt their secret techs. That ruthlessness made him who he was he would've made a good character had he continueddown his path maybe less emotional but nonetheless he would've been the Hyuga version of Itachi in prowess.
