Hinata was never meant to be a strong ninja. The strength of her character comes from her love and kindness. Hence why the biggest development for her in the entire series came from her fight with Pain. Not because she beat Pain, but because she (through her selfless love for Naruto) did what no other ninja had the guts to do at the moment.

I say if your faves are THAT threatened by her, then maybe there’s good reason for her to overtake them Like she has qualities they don’t have or better qualities they wish they had Even though I’d love for Hinata to have more screentime and more opportunities to show her strength , there’s no denying that her lack of screen time is what makes her so appealing like every time she’s on panel/screen she makes a BIG impact on others around her and the story if she had more screentime than needed, she’d probably end up like Sakura who’s faults is only highlighted by her screen time so Hinata is just a rare, perfect storm of a character.
