Sumire's Mother isn't a Ninja, Father was a scientist both are dead while she was young but Sumire self taught herself combat without any teacher.


We assumed maybe she was part of a Root team but apparently she is a lone wolf and unlike the kids at the academy that have war heroes as parents, Sumire is a orphan.

Add to the fact that she had to play a facade with her classmates and had no school time to actually learn anything in front of everyone.

She is alone but yet for some kid that wasn't ever a ninja she basically taught herself a good amount for her age.

Of course compared to an assasin like Mitsuki and a Jounin former Anbu like Sai, there are limits...
