Just because it wasn't as emphasized as in the past doesn't mean everyone has infinite stamina. That's just dumb.

The concept of converting stamina/mental energy to chakra got retconned. since ppl, and animals are now born with it according to haragomo.

You were implying that minato running out of chakra is a plothole while it isnt. KCM being active after Minato's statement might be a plothole not the other way around.

noo i was implying that he can't be out of chakra while still in kcm which is a plot hole. You can't be "out of chakra"while in a chakra mode.

There is no plothole. KCM is fueled by Kurama's chakra, Hiraishin is fueled by Minato's chakra. Him being incapable of performing Hiraishin is only indicative that he was devoid of his own chakra, not that Kurama's chakra was exhausted as well.

If kishi was mistaken about something it would be making minato in KCM after his statement not making minato run out of chakra. That is what i meant.

Well, Minato needs his chakra to use Hiraishin simply because Kurama's chakra would never allow anyone to use Hiraishin on its lonesome in the first place, so without Minato's chakra, Kurama's chakra cannot be used for it. On the contrary, as long as Minato has some amount of his own chakra available, he can use Kurama's chakra to supplement his chakra to accomplish more strenuous tasks as Kakashi did with Kamui.

I'm assuming Minato was completely drained of his own chakra, but still possessed Kurama's, hence why KCM was maintained yet Hiraishin could not be used.
