BLACK native Americans...History of Colored People

Arnoldus Montanus (c.1625–1683): was a Dutch teacher and author. He published books on theology, history, and geography of both Holland and far-away countries.

De Nieuwe en Onbekende Weereld (Dutch) or The New and Unknown World (English) is a book by Arnoldus Montanus.

Now seeing something like this makes you want to question the history that wasn't taught in school...after discovering this I began seeing more black and different color natives in paintings, murals, and photos kinda like the egyptians paintings. I also saw the earliest definition of American.

Webster's Dictionary 1828 Online Edition:

AMER'ICAN, noun A native of America; originally applied to the aboriginals, or copper-colored races, found here by the Europeans; but now applied to the descendants of Europeans born in America.

History of the Colored Race in America:

This book was published in the 1800s I believe...

Black Americans went from Negro or Colored people to African American...black people were here before Columbus as natives too.....

It's says America no the United States or even this region. There is a llama or alpaca in the picture you first posted, some central southern Americans are naturally dark. You can be black and not African American

"A selection of from the 125 copper engravings featured in Dutch explorer, missionary, and theologian Arnoldus Montanus’ monumental De Nieuwe en Onbekende Weereld (1671). The rather impressive full title of the work in English reads “The New and Unknown World: or Description of America and the Southland, Containing the Origin of the Americans and South-landers, remarkable voyages thither, Quality of the Shores, Islands, Cities, Fortresses, Towns, Temples, Mountains, Sources, Rivers, Houses, the nature of Beasts, Trees, Plants and foreign Crops, Religion and Manners, Miraculous Occurrences, Old and New Wars: Adorned with Illustrations drawn from the life in America, and described by Arnoldus Montanus”. Never himself actually travelling beyond Europe, Montanus borrowed from descriptions of those who had, repeating many fantastic conceptions along the way. "

Hmm an explorer who never explored beond Europe.. Impressive.

Re: BLACK native Americans...History of Colored People

not all blacks came from africa... and as far as i know, columbus is the only explorer in history who was been recording his travels... who knows how many people discovered america before him or the vikings. i got a cousin who looks like african american but he wasnt, his dad skin is black and his mom got huge kissable lips (she hot) so yea thats what im saying that not all blacks came from africa its just its all about genes. just like the first picture of your post, theres different color of skin although I dont see no color.

When Columbus landed in America, he first thought it's India because of the complexion of the people so this is a indicator that these people were not black as you think they're rather looked like people in the Indian sub-continent .

There's a reason why historians don't focus on race in history. Even if there were black people in North America, prior, it doesn't mean much, it's kind of trivial.

It's kind of obvious too, because civilization started in Africa. But what makes me laugh is the fact that many Italians like to deny that their ancestors were black. They get seriously pissed off about it :lmao:
