I don't know where you're getting your information from, but the Caribbean was mostly inhabited by the Taíno, a subgroup of the Arawak, and these people were certainly not of the "black" you speak of. I'm from Puerto Rico and there are still a couple of our beautiful Taíno ancestors left, and trust me when I tell that they look nothing like the damn slaves the dirty, diseased, bastard Spaniards brought here to degrade our genes.

Sorry but you are incorrect. The original natives of Jamaica were actually Dark Skinned Arawaks. Their skin was very dark amd their hair was long and straight. They mixed with the Warriors of Gjana who had fought for amd obtained their freedom by a Ghanaian called Queen Nanny of the Maroons.

I am half Jamaican Maroon myself and half Southamerican.

Most native people of these older tribes were actually darker in skin complexion unless they had been mixed with Europeans.

Well they didn't all make it, millions died on the way. Besides you do know there's historical documents to the transatlantic slave trade right? Both of my parents have been to Senegal and seen the "Yati" or slave contracts along with the endless sea of shackles, bracelets and other tribal jewelry at the bottom of the coast.

1. I said "mostly".
2. Wasn't talking about Jamaica, bud.

Of course i know many people didnt make it. I have no idea why you disliked my post when we are actually in agreement.

Milli9ns upon millions of lives were lost during the passage from Africa to the Americas and the Europe.

Many many many people were thrown overboard and fed to the sharks. Others jumped. Others died of Dehydration, malnutrition and starvation. Countless children did not survive. During storms, the slavers on the ships would throw already traumatised people overboard in order that the ship would be lighter and not sink in the storm.

You must be registered for see images

You've pribably already seen this already but its an underwater monument that was a memorial to those who were drwoned in the seas on Greneda. Now think about it, Greneda is just one country. There were countless more countries amd countless more ships over countless more years which would have cost countless more lives.

Some say that the lives lost added to the lives taken into slavery would calculate to around 500Million. Combine that with the Gold, Diamonds, Oil, Natural Resources etc etc.. plundered.

My only issue is why didnt the slaves all just Fight Back. Like the Jamaican Maroons did.

I didn't mean to "dislike your thread" I'm on a phone so yea but the reason why many didn't fight back was because they were strategically scared shitless. They would behead children and rape women in front of the other slaves to make a biological impact on the brain of fear. I'm Trinidadian and it took a while for my people to rebel against not just slavemasters but out side bureaucrats so I believe it's all a matter when the timing was right.

Well I had watched several videos and it was mainly this one that helped me form my own opinion on the subject matter:

I know for a fact that black people were already here in the Americas...in terms of evidence there are photos of black Indians...Frederick Douglas never referred to himself as African like many others...I've come across many quotes from black figures in U.S. history who say shit like "God made me a stranger in my own home" or MLK's "an exile in his own land"...

In my opinion slavery was real but the slave trade exaggerated some negroes were already here plus the numbers don't add up with the slave trade story...they change the amount of slaves every other year....I remember a different figure as a young boy...

Personally, I agree with the notion that 'history is written by the victor' and that much that is accepted as historical facts could have been altered To suit certain agenda's so This topic is interesting To me. Not that I think that it makes sense as of yet. thanks for the link. I'll watch the video later today and get back To you about it.

Many died along the way as well. It wouldn't be too hard to apply a bit of imagination and mathematics to this.

Who gives a shit, if this guy, that guy, or your mom is black?

Anyways, I don't know much about the topic but your point is that Africans were here before they were brought as slaves?

I'm genuinely interested in This topic though. Can You provide anything with substance?

The probable source of the theory:

The topic is based on many controversies of the fallen Great African empires who were supposedly the first voyagers ever in the world. With other ethnicity forming world maps based on their findings and supposedly excellent "alchemy" etc. Even the great kingdom of "Atlantis" is one of many Legends associated with this Empire etc.

However science shed many to leave the most likely etc. OP is prolly just excited that black man may have been something other than a slave at some point in time...

Lesson: never read anything associated with black man on anything affiliated with bible, no useful knowledge will ever come out of that.

What??? Why would I be excited when it is common sense that a person was something else before they were something like a slave or king???

Well there's your problem. Your entire thread is just an opinion and not fact.
