I figured Boruto calls Sasuke Uncle cause in the earlier chapters of the Manga when Sarada and Boruto are talking about their fathers, Sarada says who would care about someone who isn't Hokage, and Boruto defends Sasuke and says something like 'Nah! My father used to tell me that Sasuke is the other Hokage..' Or something like that.

I think Naruto told some things to Boruto about Sasuke, which in turn made Bolt feel as if Sasuke was close to the family, or aka Naruto. In a sense they are basically brothers spiritually. So it does make sense why Boruto calls him Uncle.

Anyway I think it's cute.
