Cmon man, kishi even brought Itachi back just to show how op the dudes Arsenal is. The guy repelled a lightning jutsu like no other we have seen. As a matter of fact thats the most Natural energy used litterally lightning only guided by Sasuke. Lets say the totsuka blade and yata mirror end up being passed on to Sarada since ya know, new writer and who knows wtf he'll want to do. Or Kishi writes a mini story that suddenly gives the Yata Mirror a weakness, what would you think? If a war fan of no particular uniqueness, relevance, hype, or power can reflect an attack of that magnitude (which a mini Tailed Beast Bomb certainly is), a Spiritual weapon the likes of which Hagoromo hadn't wielded, hyped to no end by the man who knew of Kaguya's dimension busting abilities can certainly take it.

Even if yata mirror is invincible it doesn't mean Itachi can defeat anyone he wants. Totsuka blade has to pierce the target in order to seal the target. Any capable ninja will prevent that from happening. Or they could run away and let itachi waste his chakra. He has shit stamina.

No I believe Kishi just gave Itachi more credit than he really deserves,as it is seen with Obito/Madara/Sasuke/Naruto who got rikudou's power and question his words back then in 2008.
