Having a state religion isnt a problem. It forcing it to those who arent a part of it thats the problem.

Freedom of religion and the existence of state religion dont have to be mutually exclusive.

And what happens when the state appointed religious experts decide that research and development into scientific fields should be banned, or legislation for women's rights overturned, because it conflicts with religious principles?

Everyone must respect their parents and never hurt them. And parents should not compare their children to others.

As I said, having a state religion doesn't mean showing the said religion down on other people. What you're talking about is the worst case of theocracy.

Well it's the first law. Other laws will be made too. It's not like my postings will actually make it one.

Ideally speaking ? I'd make it a dictatorship. Then I'd divide the country in two areas. One for the high quality people and one for the trashes. Birds of a feather should just flock together.

As a religious conservative, I will introduce religious laws to govern civil, military and criminal laws.

In the criminal justice, the death penalty will be reserved for murders, rapists, spies, LGBTS and terrorists.

In the civil justice, people will have the freedom to practice their religion as long as it does not threaten the religious state; all other civil laws will be directed by religious laws.

I will prohibit any form of freedom of speech that insults any religion, culture or ethnicity. Anyone who advocates liberal or secular ideas will be arrested and deported outside the nation for one year.
