Shisui does'nt have that weakness, ots his eyes afterall, if he did, people won't fear kotoamatsukami, as he would only use it once in his life, but during his time, he was known, if he awakened his MS at the age of 7 for example, he woulda just used it once and that's it, very few would know of the power behind KA, and again its his eyes

The Uchiha massacre happened when Sasuke was around 7/8. If the War Arc happened 4-5 years later, then Sasuke would only be 11-12 in the War.

So itachi was 22/23 when he dropped dead. Meaning, him having a child is a possibility. Just lovely!

The novels mention the eye that was stolen by Danzo as the only active one and the one left as useless at the time since it had been used recently. It's implied that Uchiha know how to use their MS in a basic sense once they awaken an eye. (EX: Obito using kamui w/o trouble against those fodders that killed Rin). That's how Shisui knew. Doesn't seem like he used it though, given he was 12+ when he awakened the eye a little before meeting Itachi & died 6 yrs after meeting him.
How did Itachi know? The only possible way would be for Shisui to tell him.

He had already been going on missions and was out the of the academy, and it mentions that he did not graduate early. So, the minimum age gap between Itachi and Shisui is 7 years. The youngest Shisui could have been to awaken his MS was 12, if he met Itachi and lost his former friend soon after Academy graduation (we don't really know, since the novel never specifies how long after graduation this was). However, we do know that Shisui was not 18 or older when he met Itachi since the novel says that he wasn't exactly an adult either. So, Shisui is anywhere from 7-12 yrs older than Itachi. No wonder Itachi considered him to be an older brother.

I think Shisui actually awakened it at 13+ because of the nature of the mission he was on in the novel where he lost his best friend. His friend was caught by the enemy and Shisui could have saved him, but decided not to. It was because he was jealous that his best friend was more skilled than he was and to top it off was from an irrelevant clan. So, he let him get slaughtered and ran away. Sometime after, he reflected on his mistake of a decision, and out of regret and grief awakened MS. Something like this seems too dangerous for 12 yr olds to go on (going after enemy w/o a sensei). Maybe the anime will add on to this or gloss over it. We'll see.

No, Edo Itachi said it wasn't when Killer Bee and Naruto asked him why he didn't just use it during his fight with Sasuke. He said it was still on cool-down. But, it is true that even if it was ready he still wouldn't use it back then since he wanted to help Sasuke with his death (get closure by killing the murderer of the Uchiha clan), so you are absolute correct except for the first sentence.
