Susanoo is also very hollow. Madara literally came right through the front. See the Danzo fight, where he blows an air blast, that Rips Susanoo and the inside is hollow.

I noticed a few things about Susanoo, but first I will note some things
1. Susanoo is based purely on the users own Chakra.
2. Susanoo is formed in the Brain, and only in the Brain.
3. To control Susanoo and Stabilize it, you have to have immense chakra control, and the ability to overcome the pain of it. (It hurts "every cell in your body" as Sasuke put it.)

So for One, Susanoo has a form before Rib cage. It is in the form of a Chakra Shroud that resembles a V1 Lightning Cloak

Now I'm not saying it grants extra powers, but it should be noted this flame-like form exists, and could very possibly be a viable counter to jutsu like Amaterasu or C4.

Secondly, the Idea of Breaking Susanoo. A major difference between Susanoo and The Bijuu Avatar is how they are. Susanoo is like a hard glass shield, while the Avatar is like being covered with pillows. The difference is, Susanoo is hollow (Susanoo user's typically don't have the chakra to flesh out a Susanoo, the exception being Iso Susanoo) and Susanoo is easier to replace, where the Avatar is full, and harder to create, and harder to diminish, but allows to user to end up still taking some of the force of the attacks. (Sakura punching the Avatar wouldn't affect the Avatar, but it would Make Naruto feel a very watered down punch. Punching a Susanoo would slightly crack it, but Sasuke would not feel anything)

Susanoo isn't an entity, like Kurama, but to awaken it takes a sense of Emotional Enlightenment, akin to awakening MS. It is an embodiment of the user's mind and will. It does have an emotional standpoint.

Tl;Dr
Susanoo starts from a flame shroud, not the Ribcage.
Susanoo has different properties from a Bijuu Avatar.
Susanoo does have much to do with enlightenment.

Not sure where you got that Susanoo is hollow thing from, because it certainly isn't in the manga. Only Iso Susanoo is hollow because it needs to coat something.

Susanoo does not think on its own unlike a Bijuu. Hence why Bijuu > Susanoo.

Susanoo is full inside, can't post scans on my tablet but look at VOTE chapters when Sasuke's PS was damaged, you can clearly see it wasn't hollow. That's just one of the many occasions.

Susanoo weapons were present that time. Only one time Sasuke used and the Kages were overpowered. BTW, Sasuke barely manifested Susanoo against the Kages. He used ribcage at max for defense and was severely weakened. He used V1 once and owned the room.

Ik susano camping was present at the time...& he still got whooped by all the kages individually. He "owned" the room because he had to run away as he was running low on chakra & his eyes were bleeding & Danzo was his target etc. That's not a feat...He used ribcage because that's all he could use at the time. Susano is fueled by hatred, which is why he could use a better susano vs Danzo despite going almost fully blind & only got V1 when he got worked up. Your excuses are piss poor.
